This one feels amazing. I'm starting to work out the arthritic tightness in my joints. I've neglected movement in my life and I'm getting it back. Thanks for all the great videos.

This helps a lot with anterior pelvic tilt by strengthening the core and loosening and strengthening the hip flexors. Highly recommend

Thank you so much. I’ve been watching you and I feel better already. It was there in my hips & lower back for a straight month in a half before I found you. I was about to turn to narcotics for relief and decided to not do that. Because I do believe in the power if the bodies healing powers you open my eyes 👀 to remember that. And I started following your moves about 4 times is what took but it’s because they were weak already. Thank you bunches.

Thank you 1000 times. I’ve been having tightness in my hip flexors for the last 2 days; I work in the field. After performing this exercise, I felt IMMEDIATE relief; tried other things that didn’t work. I appreciate your content, thanks again.

Weak/tight hip flexors may be due to anterior pelvic tilt… i have this problem and I also believe my tight hip flexor is creating a tight neck flexor 😕… I have been researching this and I don’t think a hanging leg raise would be a good exercise for anterior pelvic tilt. Also please remember to teach people to engage their core and hold their back to the floor while doing this dead bug exercise 🤓

Does the dead bug require the neck/ head off the floor for the benefits on the hips?

This is not for hip flexors, this is for core rigidity to allow the extremities to function with a tight core. Stuart McGill the absolute pioneer of the core big 3 is infamous for his work on the core and its translation to sports and athleticism. If your hip flexors are tight and weak this could help but the question is why. It’s probably the inability to coordinate proper function of the glutes and core with dynamic movements. In the professional space we always go first by release the handbrake activate the muscles required then strengthen the muscles. If you want to strengthen the hip flexors. This is a good start but you need tension on the leg that is coming towards your body. While this is being done you have to engage your core and keep its stable by proper bracing techniques. If you don’t, that movement of the leg could put your pelvis into a anterior pelvic tilt which would improperly break your stable core and render more over-activation of the corresponding hip flexor. This is turn would exacerbate the current issue of tight hip flexors.

In short this videos are awful, they don’t provide enough information and would give somebody who has tight hip flexors or over active hip flexors worse symptoms without addressing the real cause. Please consult a professional. It doesn’t have to be me. I don’t care who you contact. My goal is to help identify peoples issues on an individual basis. If you aren’t getting that it’s likely this won’t work and could make it worse. I respect this guys attempt.

If you want a free sounding board for your videos, I’m happy to help.
