Catelyn lost the love her life and her father's order was for her to marry the younger brother.
Edmure got the beautiful woman, he ended up in a dungeon, but still.
Lysa had to marry a man who was old enough to be her father, or grandfather for that matter. I can't blame her for being a bit bitter and not attend her father's funeral.

Michelle Fairley was a force of nature on this show. Catelyn will always be one of my favourite characters and she’s a big reason as to why. Such compelling writing and her acting is heartbreaking in this scene. The only good thing about her dying is that we didn’t see her and Robb’s characters get ruined in the later seasons.

I never really liked Catelyn but she was fucking strong, despite the fact she probably thinks two of her children were butchered horribly she was able to keep it together solely for the benefit of her other son.

Cat was the main contributor to House Stark's tragic downfall. She drove her family, that she wanted so much to protect, into hell, by trusting Littlefinger, then by capturing Tyrion, and put a nail into the coffin by releasing Kingslayer, but that was all because she was a truly good person and great mother. Hands down the most tragic character in the whole series.

Genuinely whenever I rewatch these earlier scenes, I simply cannot believe that Robb and Catelyn died. I genuinely cannot believe the fact that they actually died. They were perfectly done and to have them taken in a fell swoop, is literally impossible for me to comprehend. I just think they're off somewhere and we don't see them
