Ser Davos Seaworth confronts Melisandre after finding the toy he gave the little Princess. Jon Snow demands clarification on this matter from Melisandre, she admits everything to him.
After hearing her out Jon Snow decides Melisandre must leave the North.

When we had feasts, our family would sit up here and I'd sit down there.
Could have been worse, Jon Snow.
You had a family.
You had feasts.
Aye, you're right.
I was luckier than most.
What is that? Tell him.
Tell him who it belonged to.
The Princess Shireen.
Tell him what you did to her.
Tell him! We burned her at the stake.
Why? The army was trapped.
The horses were dying.
- It was the only way.
- You burned a little girl alive! I only do what my Lord commands.
If he commands you to burn children, your Lord is evil.
We are standing here because of him.
Jon Snow is alive because the Lord willed it.
I loved that girl like she was my own.
She was good.
She was kind.
And you killed her! So did her father.
So did her mother.
Her own blood knew it was the only way.
The only way for what? They all died anyway.
You told everyone Stannis was the one.
You had him believing it, all of them fooled.
- And you lied.
- I didn't lie.
I was wrong.
Aye, you were wrong.
How many died because you were wrong? I ask your leave to execute this woman for murder.
She admits to the crime.
Do you have anything to say for yourself? I've been ready to die for many years.
If the Lord was done with me, so be it, but he's not.
You've seen the Night King, Jon Snow.
You know the great war is still to come.
You know the army of the dead will be upon us soon.
And you know I can help you win that war.
Ride south today.
If you return to the North, I'll have you hanged as a murderer.
If you ever come back this way, I will execute you myself.

"I loved that child as if she was my own, she was good, she was kind and you killed her!" He legit holds back the emotion.

So much respect for Davos in this scene. He doesn't just walk up and kill her like other characters might. He asks the king for justice. He shows restraint and honor, even when faced with a truly evil act. All three actors were fantastic in this scene.

When Davos says “The only way for what? They all died anyway.” That line was like a hammer to Melisandre’s argument. It was clear to everyone

Liam Cunningham is such an amazing actor his roleplay here is oscar worthy. You can really feel his anger and rage in his every word.

“If he commands you to burn children, your lord is evil” is such a simple yet powerful line. This entire scene is probably one of my favorites in the entire series. Honestly though, Davos showed the outrage that Stannis should have shown the moment Melisandre suggested burning Shireen. Even Jon was disgusted and outraged by it and Shireen was a stranger to him.

"So did her father.... so did her mother" that is without a doubt the coldest cruelest line in the series, bravo Carice Van Houton

It may have been confirmed that Eddard wasn't his father but damn does Jon evoke the spirit of Ned in this scene.

My favorite quote in all of GoT... "If he commands you to burn children, your Lord is evil." It is just perfectly said and expressed, and it shows the how simply and clearly Davos sees the world.

Also love the scene at the end, where Jon banishes her from the North. It was at that moment I think that Davos truly came to believe in him. Despite owing her his life, he stood by his honor and what he felt was right.

The first time Melisandre realized she was wrong all along, you can tell it really hits her deeply. Liam Cunningham did so well in this scene portraying a broken father

This felt like one of those parts in the telltale game where you had to make a choice

Princess Shireen's death is so heartbreaking, finally the justice is done.

Jon’s verdict revealed three things. Or at least confirmed them.
-he’s compassionate (exiling her)
-he believes in justice (declaring her a murderer and promising to execute if she’s ever in the North again.)
-isn’t ambitious for power (recognizing his jurisdiction)
Fairest ruler of the seven kingdoms

I love that Melisandre is in the dark in this scene and Davos stands by the window with light on him. Shows that even though she represents the lord of light, she is in the dark both morally and in terms of what she was able to see with her faith

Is murdering innocent people even a crime in Westeros? I thought it was just what people do for fun.

Liam Cunningham deserved an Emmy for this scene alone. The emotion in his voice alone makes my eyes water every time I watch.

This scene is really fascinating, because it almost seems like Melisandre is coming to a deeper realization about what she was wrong about. All this time, she's done horrible things with the absolute certainty that it was right, because the Lord of Light commanded it, because it was powerful and empowered her by proxy. Now, she's confronted by the raw grief of a man looking her in the eye and telling her something she had probably never heard before or even considered. Not that her god wasn't real, but rather that it wasn't a force of good. It's like after all the time she's been confronting those who doubted its power or existence, smugly and effortlessly proving the truth of her convictions with her magics and abilities, she's for the first time being confronted with the possibility that maybe this thing she swore herself to was something nefarious and demonic. And she has no defense against that accusation...

If not for Melisandre, House Baratheon would still be alive...
