I love even though Cat was being mean to Jon, he still went on to meet Bran, say what he wanted to say, kiss him on the forehead and then leave. He must have felt hurt because of Cat but that didn't initimidate him or his love for the stark siblings. Truly a great guy.

When Book Catelyn said "It should've been you" it felt so brutal!!

Every "next time we see each other" is heartbreaking when you've seen the show

God it kills me that Jon and rob never got to meet again and neither did rob and Ned.

She‘s such a great actress. You can absolutely feel her disgust for Jon when looking into her face.

“You are my blood.”
That hits way harder now

In the books this is the first time catelyn calls Jon by his name instead of “boy” or “bastard” only to tell him it should’ve been him to that fell and that she wants him to leave

3:16 The heaviness in his voice. It gets me every time. And watching him ride off knowing that the conversation will never happen was hurting.

Catelyn feared Jon would be a threat to her children and in the end it was he who protected them and saved them

"You might not have my name, but you have my blood" - Ned did foreshadowed Jon's origin albeit in twisted manner as Jon did had Ned's blood given that he was son of Ned's real sister.

I wonder if Benjin knows the truth about Jon, that’s why he is his favorite Nephew. These Brothers protecting their precious sister’s son

This is both the best part of the show and the most sad. Jon didn't know he was never going to see Robb or Ned again. Ned's final words to him was that next time they'll see each other they'll talk about Jon's mother "I promise" which hurts most of all because they were never able to see each other again. Its crazy how this beginning is the ignition as to the adventure each character will take on their own path. This show was so well directed with the perfect actors playing each character.

Jon saying “she was very kind”, he’s oddly enough the most like Ned. Just such a good person through and through. Also love the interaction with Robb, even though it had the nature of all their interactions of Robb kind of razzing him. You can tell the love is truly there. The subtle change in his expression before he hugs Jon. The first couple seasons of this show were truly works of art

It's kinda sad how she regrets not having loved him years later because she couldn't get her self to do so (in the series at least). But also sweet how she did care for him once when he was sick as a little child.
She blames all the misfortune that happened to her on herself for not having kept her promise but it was already too late.

I feel like Ned could’ve gotten away with telling just his wife about jons origin. I mean it would’ve saved Jon a lifes worth of being bullied by her and I believe she wouldn’t kept the secret because it would put a target on not only jons back but her other kids as well, which is what she really cares about

The micro expressions on Ned's when Jon wants to know about Lyanna is amazing acting.

Really makes you question the next time you see people, because sometimes there isn’t a next time. 🤷‍♂️

Okay, so I’m not crazy! I’m currently reading the book, read that scene and thinking to myself “I don’t remember her being this cruel in the show…” I know she deeply resented him… poor Jon.
