This is an annoying argument to watch, but I guess it’s not so bad when you realize they were only fighting to mislead Littlefinger in case he was watching them from a distance

Why can't we have just ONE episode of Sansa and Arya sassing each other back and forth?? Just for an entire episode of that??

I'm so tired about how Sansa's character is so unjustly misregarded and roughly judged by the fandom, even at her early stages. Sure the girl was a bit naive and didn't share many traits popular among the Starks (brutally honest, honorable and reliable), but thankfully she didn't share their usual idiocy and imprudence, which was what kept her alive till the end. You can say whatever you want and think ill of her mistakes as you wish, but in reality she was the only one who stood up and tried to be of help to her father, the only one who almost persuaded the Lannisters into showing mercy for his life (and she would have suceeded wasn't Joffrey so completely out of his mind, for Cersei and everyone else at court wanted to let him go). Such a tragic event that would later led her to face the real consequences of being a traitor's daugher – a toy for Joffrey's sadistic vices, a broodmare married off to Tyrion, a character ripped up after witnessing Ned's beheading and exhibition on a spike and what followed.
Remember how Arya was quick to flee, leaving everyone behind her the moment Ned was imprisoned? Remember how Robb couldn't make a single sacrifice by marrying the Frey girl which would have kept his mother, her pregnant wife and himself alive? Remember how Bran and Rickon deserted Winterfell that was later granted to the Boltons? Remember how Jon never came back to reclaim Winterfell, even when his watch had ended? It was Sansa who convinced everyone to take it back, and it was her who eventually did it. She was the only one who cared to restoring their legacy and a safe place for the family to come back, while everyone else was "having fun" taking on new adventures.

Sansa wasn't a common Stark, and thank God she wasn't.

Sansa casually ignoring thay she got Rickon killed because she didn't tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale.
And Arya casually forgetting she served Tywin at Harrenhall.

Thing is I can't pick a side because both are right, it's just they've been through different circumstances. If one knew what the other has been through, they would come to a compromise, which I believe Bran solved.

A lot of you are missing the picture here; this is a guise of division designed to lure little finger to his own exposition.

In order to make sure he had no way out of incrimination, they had to appear divided enough for him to confide in close circles.

Arya kind of forgot Sansa was crying and begging Joffrey to spare Ned

Arya: “I would’ve let them kill me before betraying my family”
Bruh. You literally served as Tywin Lannister’s cupbearer 🤦‍♂️

Arya was just written to be paranoid asshole for forced conflict in this season. Maester Luwin, Robb, and Catelyn all immediately recognized that Sansa's letter was written under duress. Arya also conveniently forgot she served daddy Lannister himself for half a season. The fact that she threatened to _wear Sansa's face_ after this, like a total psychopath, and that that was never addressed is nothing short of egregious.

Sansa was literally raped and held captive to two families for years. While Arya was skipping around with her friends and training. Sansa suffered so much more than Arya and grew much more in terms of mindset and intelligence. Sansa doesn't deserve to be misjudged considering the amount of suffering she went through as a child. Arya was literally working for Tywin and could have used the Faceless man to kill the main enemies but she didn't because her pride got in the way and she wanted to kill them herself, she could have ended the war early on but her selfishness took over. Sansa is a better Stark than Arya ever was.
Also Sansa was literally a child when she was forced to write that letter. I dont see how anyone in the comments can say she's to blame when she was literally in the Lion's den. Also when Robb got that letter he knew it was Cersei speaking through her sister. Its not like they followed what the letter said because they knew it was Cersei using Sansa.

🤦‍♂️ tiny little soldier girl, you literally could have had Tywin and Joffrey wiped out with that faceless man following you around. Instead you just wanted to skip around with your friends LOL.

I hate Sansa for actually thinking she was the reason they won. First of all it was LF and not her and second of all Jon sacrificed his people for their home and fought for them. What did Sanda do? Writing a letter to Littlefinger that’s all.

Arya pretending she wasn’t Tywin Lannisters cupbearer.

Who loved the fact that since they both had good points that it would convince people that they weren’t acting? Say what you will but the division between smart and stupid is what allows them to work their plan.

As for the sansa vs arya nonsense, I want to piss off the sansa simps since they will never get it. Sansa was fed, clothed, and tended to. Arya had to hide under the radar like a peasant. Sansa was tortured at times but arya was tortured the whole time trying to stay alive. SHE SAW HER BROTHERS DIREWOLF SOWN TO HIS BODY! AND SHE WAS STILL HIDING WHILE SANSA GOT TO THE EYRIE SAFELY!
And of course she CHOSE to marry ramsey. Cry and tell me that she couldn’t have chosen to follow brienne or at least bring her into her guard.

But one thing is true for what sansa said. Arya would never survive what sansa went through. And vice versa.

Sansa had to play ball and arya wouldn’t. Thus arya would die. And sansa could never pretend and hide under the radar. She wouldn’t survive. Sansa is too naive and Arya is too stubborn.

Welp thats it. Even then after season 8, i didnt like arya or sansa at the end so who cares now.
