Challenge completed. Until July 2023 I was overweight, 81Kgs and I had high Cholestrol, Triglycerides and Type 2 diabetic values. That was my wake up call. I cut down sugar, controlled my food portions per meal, did a lot of exercises like running, Suryanamaskar and ultimate frisbee. I came down to 66Kgs. I feel great and my body looks athletic now. I would definitely recommend everyone who are struggling with weight management issues to cut sugar completely for a week or two and then after your brain gets used to this, consume artificial sugar in moderation which is not more than 20gms a day. In this way you are limiting your sugar intake and also dont have the feeling that you are missing sugar.

in jan 2024 I actually quitted sugar for more than 2 weeks and I could really experience how my energy level boosted, fatigue reduced and after 2 weeks one day I took sweets(thoda sa zyada amount me) and I COULD REALLY FEEL HOW AFTER JUST 1 HR I FELT SO SO SO SLEEPY LIKE I HAVE NO ENERGY AT ALL ....and EVEN AFTER WAKING UP I CAN STILL FEEL THE EFFECT( BODY ACHE, SLEEPY, TIRED)

in my house we don't use sugar at all it's only used to make sweet dishes and that also we eat once in few months but it's good to do this we don't have in tea and coffee from last 15 years and it has helped lots

I have followed this 14days sugar detox challenge which is totally great decision for good health.

Here are benefits of this challange:
More energetic, Feel refreshed, good sleep, more mental peace, increased concentration level, little weight loss, Stomach bloting reduced.

I am going to extend this challenge for 30 days and then 48 days and will share the changes.

@hanji madam thanks for sharing useful informations. I have an doubt what should be taken as alternative of sugar.can we take jaggery, dates. Please give your advice on this.
