I'm 5 days in and I'm getting the headaches and low energy. I'll fight through it. Sugar is so bad for you. I want to fight off inflammation, that was my motivation. So far so good

I normally eat minimal sugar in my lifestyle, but I thought I’d cut back 100%. I’m 6 days in. I was a bit shaky on the third day, but I feel great. I cut back carbs drastically also. I feel stronger with my daily workouts and the tight muscles in my back have loosened up. Sleeping better also

Very few people can stop eating processed sugar and processed foods for three days. I used to be a sugar addict plus processed foods. Long story short. I have been off of these addictive foods for eleven years. As the result I have dropped seven prescription drugs I was told I would be on for life! Not to mention, lost 40 pounds. In time you will not desire the junk food and sugar. You can train your body to desire healthy foods. (Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, fish, and organic meats) Although it will require consistency and discipline to develop your new lifestyle.

I'm finishing my third week of no sweets (cookies, candy, cakes, and desserts), and also reducing added sugars in savory foods. Still eating natural sugars in fruits. My goal is to reverse my type 2 diabetes. I'd love your advice on how much total sugars and how much added should be a maximum goal. (56 yo female, 245 lbs.) This, plus intermittent fasting - and I'm feeling great!

I stopped all sugar before the Pandemic.
I went vegetarian keto( lacto/ovo).
It's not easy a lot of eggs and vegetables.
I feel great.

I stopped eating sugar two months ago and I had a yeast rash here and there on my body and it's gone. My inflammation is gone also and I feel much better. I don't buy sweets cause if I do ill eat them the solution is not to buy them. Eat a healthy meal and you won't crave sugar. It'll take a few weeks to get used to not eating sugar but it gets easier. There's a lot of tasty low carb meals and treats too. Drink lots of water that is most important!!

I don't eat sugar for years. Low carb, higher fat and a lot of vegetables most of the time. I'm 47, but people never believe that. Before I tell them my age, they usually say numbers below 40. "Tanita" scale says my metabolic age is 28yro. I must add, that I've been exercising regularly for many years.

I stopped drinking soft drinks and energy drinks about 3 weeks ago. I still drink sweet tea and occasional sweet treat but wanted to take out a big chunk of my sugar intake. I get a gallon of water everyday and started to do cardio. My whole body feels cleaner, better energy level and sleep and generally feel so much healthier. I know I’ll never fully get off of it but just taking out my main source of sugar intake has made a hugeee difference in my life for the better

I give sugar and added sugar up for lent! Ive done it for 6 years now and this year I have found it the easiest but when I first started I felt light headed, got headaches and felt tired all the time for the first 5 days!

I cut sugar cut way down on walking ...trying for the 30mins ....fast pace..which is 3.1 i can only do 20 mins...without panting...its been a month or more....I feel like crap...haha....but im getting there...i'm 65....const all my life....always in decent health....now i was up to 265lbs....now down to 245....but i'll do anything i put my mind to....and i dont want to take diabetes meds....dont like drugs...no matter where it comes from....thankyou Doc....you started me on this

Ever since my Fatty Liver disease diagnosis, I have changed not only my eating habits but my life habits. I am eating whole foods. Also, today I only consumed 8.5g of sugar. Somedays it's less. I am losing weight, I am feeling better, and I will find out soon from my upcoming ultrasound 2 months POST fatty liver if my enlarged liver has shrunk. Sugar is KILLING us all. Also, my glucose has gone down to 70's-90's. Anyone watching this video, take it VERY SERIOUSLY, sugar can not only kill you but it can destroy your organs which can kill you. Change your eating habits along with your life habits. Good luck.
