For those wondering what a 'reasonable' daily sugar intake is:

According to the UK's NHS, 30g/day of ADDED sugar is reasonable.
Total 90g, 60g natural sugar from fruit etc. + 30g added to tea, coffee, desserts etc.

Many people have gone completely no sugar, completely cut it out and moved to organic foods only and have made it a permanent lifestyle change and are doing amazing. That's what I'm working toward. But I'm doing the healthy keto with intermittent fasting which is no sugar or very little sugar and low carbs. It's not just a diet for a time, it's a life change and without the sugar and carbs, and eating grass fed eggs/meat and organic vegetables and avocado, I'm amazed how much better I feel. I've pretty much given up processed food. But the eggs and meat have to be grass fed and vegetables have to be organic to not have all those chemicals added.

I have not had sugar, fried food, fast food, restaurant food, or dairy since Aug 1 2023. I have lost 20 lbs.
I personally don't have a moderation key when it comes to sugar. I am a sugar addict so I can't have it at all.
I have been eating only vegetables, fruit, nuts, organic peanut butter, lean poultry, fish, pork loin and flourless bread. I pray I can keep this up for the rest of my life. I do not want to be diabetic or have a heart attack.
It truly is a change in eating habits, not a diet. I have 12-1500 calories a day. 3:14
