Lowering cholesterol levels is crucial for a healthy heart! 🫀💪 Here's a holistic approach to manage it effectively:

1️⃣ Diet: Incorporate heart-healthy foods like oats, nuts, olive oil, and fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Avoid trans fats and limit saturated fats found in red meat and full-fat dairy.

2️⃣ Exercise: Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, like brisk walking or cycling, most days of the week. This helps boost 'good' HDL cholesterol and improve overall heart health.

3️⃣ No alcohol: Limit or avoid alcohol consumption as it can raise your triglyceride levels, leading to higher cholesterol.

4️⃣ Weight loss: Shedding excess pounds can significantly lower cholesterol levels. Aim for a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise.

5️⃣ Medication: If necessary, consult your healthcare provider about prescribed medications to manage cholesterol levels effectively.

Remember, small lifestyle changes can lead to significant improvements in your heart health! ❤️

I did the carnivore diet for years and my cholesterol sky rocketed. Now I can lower my cholesterol! My doctors says it’s high and bad for my heart health. Thanks docs!

Reduce cholesterol, reduce saturated fat, statins... my god. This feel like 1980's ad - so outdated

Have been eating good grass-fed saturated fat; lost 40 kilograms; I have reduced Triglycerides, thyroid, high BP and pre-diabetic condition. They key is carbohydrates reduction...not saturated fat and strategic exercise routine to complement with low-carb diet.

Also, statins can cause diabetes and their effect on improving the bodies health is negligible, but is very effective on increasing the pharmaceutical bottom line.

Hey doctors. I challenged you to respond to this video 10 years from now. Studies indicate people with higher cholesterol actually live longer. The sweet spot is in the 180 to 280 range, total cholesterol. Sugar has glucose and fructose. Liver can only handle about 12 g of fructose a day. We’re giving our kids about 50 g a day.

The way to get healthy is very clear… just remove processed foods, cut down as much as possible on carbs, and eat non-processed real food. And do some exercise.

It is well known that statins mess with the liver, resulting in Type 2 Diabetes for one thing. Memory loss is also connected to statins.😢

Saturated fats are good! Stop lying! Also statins are dangerous, think twice people. ;)

Wrong on saturated fat and wrong on statins. I'm on carnivore/keto for over 3 years now. I mostly eat lots of red meat, wild-caught fish, pasture-raised eggs, avocados, raw dairy & raw unfiltered honey. I do exercise moderately. Have lost weight. Numbers were over 210. All numbers were bad. Numbers have been in super healthy ranges for over 3 years. Higher HDL, lower LDL, lower Triglycerides. All in healthy ranges. I did this to get off statins. Statins were never meant to be taken indefinitely. People use them as a crutch. Statins like most medications taken over long periods of time have been shown to cause cancer. DRUGS ARE BAD! DON'T DO DRUGS!

Saturated fats are fine, they pose no risk at all, its the trans fats + carbs and sugar that do all the damage along with smoking and alcohol.
As for statins they dont help anywhere at all as they cannot reduce the small dense LDL particles which are responsible for all the issues. Not only that but statins cause a lot of damage too. Also small dense LDL particles are increased from carbs and sugar and not from saturated fat.

I eat 5 to 6 eggs every day and a big steak.

High cholesterol is not bad, its the high inflamation plus small dense LDL particles that are doing all the damage, and both of them are caused mostly from sugar and carbs. Using total cholesterol as a marker is a joke and im surprised its still being used to treat people. Only advanced lipid profile should be done where you can see exactly the particles count. You could have high cholesterol consistent of large boyant particles which is harmless but have very low number of small dense LDL particles and be perfectly fine and healthy. Or you can have low total cholesterol and be full with small dense LDL particles which is actually very bad.

You are correct. The last one upset me. I refuse to take cholesterol meds. Mine wasn't even that high, and a doctor wanted me to take them. Though I admit it has taken me a while (69 years old), I'm finally taking the bull by the horns and am losing weight!
