EMOTIONAL DETACHMENT is a powerful coping mechanism the body uses to overcome major life trauma. RECOGNIZING IT in the first place is often the hardest part 😔 🌧

Hey guys, if you are feeling emotional stress, often that’s because you are dealing with a difficult situation, and don’t know which road to take. If that’s the case:

1) don’t fall in the trap of thinking that there is a “right” and “wrong” decision. That’s nearly never the case. There are only different decisions, leading to different outcomes. Once you know this, you can stop overanalyzing everything

2) Don’t get complacent! Never stop trying out new things, meeting new people, visiting different places, listening to a different type of music or learning a new subject. Be hungry for life, even if now you don’t feel like it, and even when what you try doesn’t satisfy you at first

Irritability and anger can become common traits in people who are stressed. In one study, higher levels of anger were associated with both mental stress and the possibility of a stress-related heart attack.✌✌✌🥺🥺🥺

Always giving me positivity from your Group.

Being Autistic (With OCD and Tourette's syndrome rooting from Autism) with ADHD, having major Depression, Stress and Anxiety. (I have to take medication for Depression which just barely scratches the surface of aiding me, but does have a noticeable impact when I am on them)

All of you at Psych2go to give me the Mental Support needed to help me clear my Head.

And the Fact, I have both sides of Empathy for Cognitive, but also get lost because of the Affectionate set as well.

It really helps me understand what is going on with me, especially when I am struggling.

Your group is Oxygen to me, and I'm all the more thankful for it.

You all are in my prayers.

Your channel is the ONLY thing that keeps my eldest son (soon 22y) alive at this point. I share every one that's relevant to his conditions (deep depression his whole life, and he self-harms..and just want to die..). Thank you from the bottom of a mother's heart🙏🏻❤️

I feel all of these at once! Especially the emotional detachment, insomniac sleep patterns and emotional eating. I’ve been an emotional eater for years, it has morphed into stress and binge eating at times. The pandemic has made things rather difficult emotionally, more than they were before

This is the episode of my life right now. I'm gaining weight again because of emotional eating, my sleeping pattern is becoming worse, and other things mentioned here are my struggles.
I also don't want to talk to people these days since I'm too irritated when having one, and I thank you again Ma'am for this upload! This is just so timely! 🙂
