I literally was crying about how i've been feeling lately, being tired and unmotivated about things that I absolutely love and enjoy, expecting too much of myself and feeling even worse when I can't fulfill those expectations bc I wake up and I just can't do anything. anyways, I just wanted to say great timing, I absolutely appreciate your work and wish y'all the best <3

I think I’m burned out, but I don’t know what to do. I have all of the characteristics mentioned in the video. But the problem is that every time I try to take a break from either drawing, writing, or working for my shop, a huge sense of guilt consumes me, and makes me believe I’m being lazy, that I’m not being productive, and in the end I just head back to do all of that again. It’s like a cycle: burned out, thinks of a break, takes a break, feeling of believingIm just lazy comes in, goes back to do what burns me out. I really don’t know what to do

I feel this is why Zenitsu is one of my biggest comfort characters....I feel connected to him in many ways...He has hyper anxiety, he feels burnt out, he feels scared, he wants love, he feels incompetent, he thinks of the perfect world when he dreams...these are things that are way to relatable to me and possibly many teenagers like me (or even adults). He reflects many of us a lot...

the best way I’ve found to prevent burnout for me is making sure I schedule time to rest. If I don’t, then I overwork myself and I don’t really relax. It’s helped me especially when working from home where the lines can easily be blurred.
