I'm from Germany and that's really important here to not be late. And the biggest paradox is, that the "Deutsche Bahn" (trains) is almost always late

In my A1 class we had an exercise about lateness and apologies. There was a page of questions "how late can you be to... ...class? ...the doctor? ...an opera?" The professor's instructions were to cross out the entire page because "you can not be late". 😅
The listening exercises also has several modules where we had to listen to people complain about lateness from their coworkers or dinner guests. They really drive the point home!!
