Welcome to a low impact walking video that will improve your cardiovascular system and increase overall strength and stamina!
“60 Minute Walking Workout for Seniors and Beginners | 5000 step workout"

Want a longer at home walking workout to get your steps in? This 60 minute walk is just the ticket! Mom gets in 5000 steps with this walk, but you may rack up more or less depending on your pace. It consists of 6 sets of 4 exercises in intervals of 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 seconds. Add more challenge by adding light weights or increasing the tempo during intervals.

Some notes:
✅ Clear your workout area. If you have loose rugs, move them out of the way or tape them down.
✅ Stay hydrated and have water handy. Drink during breaks.
✅ Go at your own pace. This is a long workout so rest when needed. It’s ok to pause the video and take a break.
✅ If you want more challenge, pick up some light weights and/or pick up the pace during the intervals.

Hi lovely ladies, I’ve just finished this 1 hour walking work out, I absolutely loved it. I managed a brilliant 5, 500 steps, so pleased with my self. Thank you for this video! Im 30 years old and became chronically ill from covid 15 months ago. I got pots, ist, and dysautonomia from getting covid. I went from being able to do anything, to barely being able to do anything without my heart rate spiking and causing me to be sick. Its also caused my body to become very weak. My cardiologist wants to me do some light cardio exercises. Other videos are too fast and not low impact like they say. They cause my heart rate to spike to dangerous levels and my body is too week to do them. I was able to do make it about 45 minutes in before i got tired! My heart rate only spiked a couple of times too! Thats a win for me! Its been hard to figure out how my body works now. This video will be one i do frequently! Thank you for this amazing video!

There has been a lot going on recently and I haven’t actually done a workout since 5 April so I finally decided to get back to it today and did the 60 minute workout. I can say that by the last set I had hit 5000 steps I was losing a little steam by that point I slowed down, but I still got it doneand I used water bottles for the majority of it. Thank you so much ladies now I’m going to sit down and enjoy my protein shake.

I've been doing this workout 2x each week and I am reaping the benefits to both endurance and strength.
I hope that you make more like this; I love and banter and miss by own mother so much - who would have been about the same age as Aiko. My mother had such an absurdist sense of humor! She was a lot of fun.

Wow!!! Just what I needed. With all the graduation parties and weddings I've attended, and ALL that food, this hit the spot. Wasn't sure I'd be able to complete i, but I did. And not sure I hit the 5000 steps but it was close! I have to get FITBIT! Hats off to u both for this great and enjoyable video & hats off to me for finishing

Amazing combination of exercises that were really fun to do. I also live in a desert climate with early morning temperatures in the mid 80's climbing over 100 by mid-day. I take my dog, Ginger out at sunrise for a long walk and then we head home to exercise in the air conditioning with our favorite coaches. I exercise and Ginger runs around with her stuffed toys. This is my new favorite workout.
