I remember my ex gave me the silent treatment for an entire month and then texted me at 5am and asked if I watched a TV a show that they know we watched together. After this, I realized just how twisted this person was and they've been blocked ever since.

If a Narc hoovers they think you are stupid enough to get in for another round. It is a compliment if they don't hoover. Why? Because it is a compliment by the universe that a person(ality disorder) without any self-worth doesn't want to hang out with you. You are smart and over it. Peace.

I relapsed ( text my ex ) yesterday and am disappointed in myself. People wish for hoovering but when you are trying to get over someone all it does is make it harder to move on. I know he doesn't really care.My head knows this. I'm still waiting for my heart to catch up with that fact. 😞

Im first learning about reverse hoovering. I went no contact a month ago. God helped me break free. My attachment and trauma bond made me even more sad that he didn't hoover. And yiu are exactly right. I just wanted him to show that he cared when throughout the whole time, he never really did. Thank you for the info.

I was hoovered a lot but I feel May was the final discard I wish I was more educated on NPD back then. He is 💯 if you can get out please do a person with NPD is dangerously mentally sick and they will destroy you — It is never love it’s a deliberately created truma bond done by a desperate failed sociopath .

I walked away in July went no contact, A 7yr relationship gone in the blink of an eye.
I confronted The ex on being a narcissist, he knew I was on to who he really is. That mask slipped and I couldn’t unsee it. He knows I am a strong woman. He tried to cal and txt but I ignored him. He has since txt my Auntie twice just saying hello lol . He knows NEVER EVER TO CONTACT ME.

Thank you for this-my parent after no contact started the reverse Hoover and is now not hovering at all. I thought it was me-that she didn’t love or care about me. Or that I caused everything. I cried watching this explanation. Thank you.
