I am68 years old, I had Bariatric surgery April 1st, I have lost 155 pounds. I eat low carb and I run 18 miles a week on a under water treadmill, I use the patch aid vitamins for RNY bypass . I have to watch my portions and carbs. I found some noddles made with yellow peas . High protein and low carb . But we only have them every once great and a while. I am in the best condition of my life. I was pre diabetic. But not now. I was a size 24now I an a size 16 . I have only 60 more pounds to go for my personal goal. I will eat this way the rest of my life and will never go back to the way I was. This is my life changer.

Great advice Doctor. I am 62years and have been suffering from type 2 diabetes for about 12 years. Recently by suger level ha spiked during the Pandamic as I am going through a lot of stress and anxiety since I have been without work for the last 2 years. Yay! I just weighed myself and have lost 7 pounds in a month, about ten since my diagnosis a couple of months ago. Lettuce and I also am now taking apple cider vinegar, elderberry juice and taking turmeric with black pepper and ginger, chia pudding, farro grains, quinoa and red cabbage.

I had tried No carb diet and i used to get perfect readings in my blucon CGM, but i could not sustain to it for longer..then i started intake of carbs 60g per day and i am sticking to low carb diet now..and through food insights option i am able to choose wisely foods which dont affect my sugars

I drop my A1C from 12 to 7 in 3 months. Also lost 10 kg.
Simple rule: Replace the Grain and fruits with Veggies 🙂

My grandfather is almost 90 years he went to the doctor, they gave him medicament for diabetes, he was having all the symptoms, he likes, donuts, fried food, soda etc. He began a diet and months later he went to another doctor he told him he was not a diabetic and took the pills away, really interesting

My go to dressing: equal parts evoo and balsamic vinegar, pizza seasoning (or italian herbs and spices), xylitol, water. Shake it up real good and let it marinate over night or chill in fridge. GOOOOD! I will mix a bit of store bought blue cheese or ranch but the good fat and vinegar really makes me feel full and satisfied.
