1. Fruits (in big amounts) - Bananas, Watermelons, Plums, Apples, Pears and ETC.
2. Rice.
3. Meat (Tuna, Chicken, Beef) - High Protein foods in general.
4. Caffeine.

I always thought you needed meat to perform until I read about Scott Jurek in the book ‘Born to run’ who is arguably the best competitive long distance runner in history and a vegan. I find it really interesting how he tried all kinds of diets but his performance was best eating vegan. I’m experimenting with different things as different things work for different people but I highly recommend his autobiography Eat & Run, a lot of it’s about diet. If he can consistently dominate 100+ mile ultramarathons across mountains there’s absolutely something to it, you don’t win any of those by luck let alone dominate them for years. Born to run is also a massively inspiring and groundbreaking book with a lot of proven alternative nutrition for endurance runners I never heard of before reading. Thanks for the videos, because it’s great to get information from multiple sources..

Instant Coffee... I use it to enhance two of the four "endurance superfoods" with taste and texture.
1. I use it as a rub on meats that I cook in a pan or put under a broiler in the oven... It provides a seer and a char flavor to meet as if it was cooked on a charcoal grill (sneaking in caffeine with your meats).
2. I use it as an earthy flavor to Rice, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, and quinoa (this addition provides dynamic depth in flavor to otherwise bland food).

In general I use instant coffee not only for coffee but as a spice, a rub, a food enhancer, creating a char (without the grill), and a clever way of adding caffeine into your diet without having to drink coffee (for non coffee fans).

Would these foods be beneficial in football games as well, seeing as in a way it's kind of an endurance sport? Especially on really long drives

Another thing with runners going away from things because they don't wanna be big is weight lifting. One of my coaches wanted me to not weight lift, but I'm literally doing the weights for running now not every lift is helpful to running like idk that bench press is super helpful for distance running but those aren't the lifts I'm doing.

What is the original source that says 1 gram per body pound? I really want to know because literally every direct source (doctors/ research papers) I've ran across say it's 0.8-1.5 per kilogram (not lbs)

So wrong 😇 Especially how protein only exist in meat and not to mention coffee 😅 wrong it actually seems wright 😊😅 That's a complete recipe for stimulants not nutrition 😊
