So, here’s the thing: adults are allowed to go “missing” if they want, you can leave and not tell anyone. But leave a note or something, and call the police if you see a report has been opened on you. The police legally can’t tell your family anything except that you’re alive somewhere in the world and want to be left alone. Don’t waste police resources and leave people wondering.

Calling Julian's mom "gullible" for letting her son's dad have time with him is ridiculous. There's no way she could have known what he was up to. And it isn't gullible to want your kid to spend time with his dad.

Talk about victim blaming.

Tanya's case is so horrifying. It took only minutes to actually find her but days to take the pleas of a despairing man seriously. They both suffered much more than needed just because authorities refused to listen

Tanya's case is infuriating. The 911 operators who refused to file a report should be fired. And the police who weren't willing to bother looking for her should be fired too. She could have died because of all the authorities' laziness. Good for Tom.

at 28:04, "January 16, 1977" got mistakenly inserted in the script, as this is the date on Marx's birth certificate and is used in the script multiple times. Sorry about it.

tanyas case is so infuriating. She suffered 8 days for nothing when it took them 20 minutes to find her once they finally looked for her

Disappearance cases are so fascinating. Especially when they are later found ALIVE. Please post more stories like this!

I'm glad they haven't found Carlos....he chose to be alone and forcing him to come back would most likely have really messed with his head after all this time.

I took the picture @55:25 of John Gacy about 1975. Worked for him six years, was in his crawl space, and lived to tell about it.

...John Wayne Gacy's childhood was definitely not normal. He was severely abused by his father. He took beatings from his father so his mother and sister didnt have to. His father beat him so hard he would be knocked out most times. One time, his father hit him with an object (I cant remember what object exactly), which resulted in him blacking out and had affects on his heart. I am in no way trying to defend this disgusting man, I just think it's a little misleading to claim that he had a relatively normal childhood when his father beat him black and blue all the time.

If Carlos wants to be left alone, they really needed to stop looking for him. It was obvious he didn't want to be found.

Tonya and Tom should sue the crap out of the Seatle PD for not taking her missing seriously.

Julien's mother was gullible for allowing his father to watch him? What a poor choice of words.

1. Carlos.
It looks like Carlos does not want to see his parents. Maybe he ran away from them.

I say, with only compassion for the poor man, that Carlos is never found alive. That poor, poor man.

So Dr. Bates forgot everything about his life but retained all his medical knowledge?

"His last *known* whereabouts were unknown"?. Surely "His whereabouts were unknown" ? His last KNOWN whereabouts means the last confirmed sighting which, by definition is always known no matter how long before he was reported missing

I dont care how bad your divorce is, you never male/female take a child from the other parent. Kidnapping him, poor child, dad should have gotten more than 4 years

1:10:42 The police handled this case disgustingly…. I hope they sue. Took them 20 minutes to find her, but had her suffer 8 days, when they finally decided. 😑
