Hello everyone, and welcome back to Scary Interesting. In this video, we’re going to go over three incredibly creepy, unsolved disappearances. In the final story, you will think you know what’s going on and that the story is cut and dry, but there is something found at the end, which completely changes everything, and it is horrifying. As always, viewer discretion is advised.

As per YouTube's new AI disclosure policy, you may see a box pop up that says "Altered or synthetic content". To give specifics on how it's used on this channel, we use it to generate some scenes where real and stock images are not available, as well as some of the AI tools in various programs to speed workflow. Otherwise, all scripts, voiceovers, video editing, etc. is done by humans.

To be fair to clint: even if i were completely innocent, if the police asks me to take a polygraph I'm getting a lawyer, it sounds like they are thinking I'm the culprit

The first story, if you have any idea about how bad lie detector tests are, then it makes sense to lawyer up as soon as you are asked to take one. Even with being completely innocent.

Nothing weird about not wanting to take a polygraph! At that point, cops are just trying to get you to confess.

The frog boys case is so sad. I feel for their parents, especially as they basically poured all their money into the search and then years later lost every attempt to sue for clear police negligence...I can't imagine how horribly that must have affected their lives. Also sounds way, way sus on the military base. Even if the whole base wasn't in on it, at least one coward knows what happened.

Wow... whoever pranked the parents pretending to be one of the missing children is pure evil man...I can't even imagine the feelings going through those poor parents.

feel bad for Derek..
losing your whole family in a short time is nearly impossible to process in a healthy way.

Disappearances are somehow more terrifying than true crime. When people disappear, there’s almost never a conclusion.

Clint isn't guilty for wanting a lawyer, he's smart. Your mom could be missing and you'd still be best to not talk without a lawyer present.
Cops don't want your help, they want to see if you're guilty, and no matter how innocent or truthful you are, they're still there to get you to confess, not to see what you know. There was one story awhile back of a guy that confessed to harming his father because the police manipulated him into confessing under the guise of coming to him for help. His father was actually alive and the police just manipulated him until he broke down, even bringing his dog in there telling him they'll put him down if he doesn't confess, that's the people who clint lawyered up from.

It's not unusual to refuse a polygraph test, since those are pseudoscientific nonsense, and that dude was smart to lawyer up.

These -no explanation- disappearance stories drive me crazy. I get frustrated when I can't find an inanimate object in my home. It's like how does a whole person with hopes, dreams, loved ones, etc. just vanish?

These cases always really put the disappear in disappearance. The first case reminded me of the video where the DJ got stuck behind the false wall in the club basement, hopefully they checked the bar thoroughly. Great vid as always!

Who sorts bones like that? I thought they were stupid, but then realized the cops didn't care.

I wonder if the first case has a simular ending to one of the earlier cases you covered where the guy accidently squeezed himself between two walls.

I’m from Columbus, and Brian Shaffer case is still talked about. I was also an Ohio State University medical student in 2006 and knew him (only through classes we had together), and his disappearance was a hot topic for years.
Thanks for covering this story.

While I have heard of all three stories before, the story of the frog boys is just a constant reminder how little the South Korean government cares about its children. The Sewol Ferry disaster is another great example of that and it makes it less odd how their birthrate is falling so hard. Who would want to get children, when those who should take care of them while their parents work and ensure their security, have zero interest in doing so?

The police in South Korea just handled the frog boys case poorly from start to finish. Wonder if they were connected to the military base…

i remember when the first case happened, my brother worked at the ugly tuna as security, he was freaked out by it, it was very strange.

Brian's disappearance is the strangest and creepiest case I've ever heard. Especially after what happened to his family members.

I heard the story about Brian several times. The Ugly Tuna bar was going through construction at the time. I think Brian could have been intoxicated and wandered in a restricted area. If he wasn't intoxicated, he could have been murdered and his body was well hid in the construction area. I'm not sure if the construction area was checked thoroughly.

18:57 How cruel and insensitive do you have to be to pretend to be a missing 9 year old as a “prank”?
