This is everything I ate today on a plant based, low calorie density diet. I've lost 25+ pounds eating this way without being hungry or counting calories. The KEY is healthy, satisfying, fiber-rich starch! (potatoes, rice, beans, oatmeal, barley, corn, millet) These easy meals will help you lose weight without weighing or measuring your food and they taste great!

lentils
edamame
tofu
tempeh
soy milk
nutritional yeast
quinoa
collard greens
green peas
soybean sprouts
lima beans
mushrooms
spirulina
Brussel sprouts
black beans
kidney beans

Plant Based Fat Sources (other than nuts and oils):
Avocado
Olives
Edamame
Tofu
Soy Milk
(sprinkle some ground flax on your oatmeal)

Hi Melissa! Thank you for sharing! I'm 2 weeks on this diet / way of life, still no cravings for anything else this is so liberating. I quit coffee two weeks ago as well, but I have plain green tea in the morning instead. I assume you do not drink any green tea at all?
