I had to figure this out the hard way 💀 I'd be making salads and adding a handful of almonds and dressing to it, along with fruit and what not to make it more satiating, but since I was on a strict calorie deficit, it did NOT help

I would also add a spoonful of peanut butter to my oatmeal, along with milk, and protein powder. I just have a hard time fitting enough protein in on a 1200 calorie deficit. I'm 5 foot tall and 40 pounds overweight, also stay at home mom so it's relatively sedentary, and I wanted the lowest calories I could thrive on. It's so so difficult 😮‍💨

I measure/weigh those on my food scale.
I weigh everything actually.

Takes the guess work out. Like you said, it all adds up.
I eat around 1800 - 2000 calories daily because I’m now in maintenance.
That’s not really A LOT of food. It’s a good amount but not A LOT. I USED TO WAY OVER EAT. Then I got type 2 diabetes!! So, no more of that. I’ve now lost 51 pounds and reversed type 2.

To any fitness/health people in the comments. My weightloss stopped despite being in a calorie deficit and Im not sure why.

I'm 5'11 and I was 316 now down to 272. But now for whatever reason, despite it being a week+ I can't lower, infact I've been seeing some gain. This is actually been really frustrating as my day 100 journey is around the corner and no matter what this final push seems to just be halted.

I eat around 1000-1200 calories a day and that's what I've been doing since I started a few months ago and I walk 2 miles a day. I eat a nice amount of white meat and broccoli daily too.

Am I eating too little? Is my body fighting against me? I'm so confused.

That is not necessarily true there are bad fats and they are good fats, the good fats with exercise you will lose faster than the bad fats and those good fats are good for your body you need them in your body even though they have more calories they have more protein they have more than you can feel full about addendum bad fat is not good for you it's not only with calories is just bad for you like the fat from the no remember people he is not a doctor he's not a nutritionist he is just somebody that lost 135lb that's all I lost 260 lb

Don’t be afraid of fat though. All five of those foods can still fit into macros and are healthy.
