Welcome to Day one of the 15 day Yoga series for beginners by Apsara Vydyula. In this class, we learn about Breathing and Bandhas.

#15daysofYoga #BeginnersYoga #Bandhas

The breath is an important factor in everyday life. By changing the breathing pattern, you can produce different states of mind.

Bandhas are body locks which can be employed in our body. During the practice of Bandhas, the energy flows more strongly through the body with an increased pressure.

Here Apsara shows us how to consciously breathe and further more, shows us how to effectively employ Bandhas.

Very clear to understand in speach and body postion. In another "Bandha" video, the instructor said to unlock first the Mula Bandha and practice it for about 40 days then move up to the Uddiyana Bandha. The same practice for about 40 days and only then move up to the Jalandhara Bandha. Practice for about 40 days before doing the Maha Bandha. What is your thought about this, because this video no. 1 and you explain all 3 already.

Thank you for the Initiative...A lot of teachers don't consider giving time for breathing rather focus on the steps alone which I personally find difficult to follow and do it along...

Hi, I seem to get a backache when I try to sit with my back straight, for me to not feel pain, I tend to tighten my legs a bit and use my hands to support, what can I do to fix this?

I am confused. You said stomach in and breath in with the chest by expanding the chest. Then you said stomach in again to realise the air. If my stomach is always in then just say so. If it’s meant to go out at some point then say so. Please clarify
