Welcome to your DAY 1 MORNING session of your 360° BREATHING 7-DAY CHALLENGE. First master diaphragmatic breathing to fill the lower part of your lungs with life-giving air. As you use your lower lungs, you will activate your parasympathetic nervous system and decrease stress levels with the power of belly breathing. Enjoy the sweeping views of Lake Tahoe as you access, previously forgotten, parts of your lungs. Take this journey and find out your 360° BREATHING SCORE by answering the following questions on a scale of 1 to 10 and adding the number up.

1/ Happiness

So glad I found your channel. I've had anxiety issues for most of my life that manifest themselves in asthma and occasional panic attacks. I do yoga, breathing exercises, etc. It's good to learn some new stretches and exercises I never thought of. I am using the breathing exercises right now, as I watch my long-suffering Phillies play in their first NLDS series since 2011. We Philly fans NEED the breathing exercises 😁 In all seriousness, those of us with anxiety thank you!

This is wonderful! I am doing this here in Lake Tahoe with my window open as I am recovering from a mild case of Covid. I had done these 3 years ago when I had been having trouble catching my breath playing tennis even though I was used to the altitude. It worked wonders then. Thank you!

Hi Doctor, The breathing exercise at 5:07 is amazing. Often, I notice that the back side of the ribs becomes tight for me whenever I become tense. This exercise releases the tightness and also makes me calmer.

Thank you Doctor Fields, this was brilliant. I have a lot of TMJ pain, and believe most of my pain derives from stress I keep in my body. I look forward to the PM for Day 1.

A few days ago I noticed that I often hold my breath. Has all my life been struggling with inner stress and anxiety after a wery dysfunctinal childhood. I have done a lot of yoga, meditation and personal development but still problem with my breathing so I think this going to be perfect for me! Thank you for this challenge! Im in :)

Thank you for producing this 360 Breathing series, Dr. Fields!!! I love it and am running through the series over and over again with the aim of completing each routine (except for the Day 7 am, which kind of terrifies me) 30 times and re-tabulating my breathing score. My initial score was 75. I'll let you know what the new one is. Here's wishing you and yours a happy, healthy 2021! And, thank you again for this wonderful gift :)

Enjoyed your video. I'm already feeling more relaxed. Today I'm a 39. Last week when I saw your into video I was 27. I haven't been able to do my normal yoga because when I bend into downward dog I get ear pain in my left. So happy I could do the side stretches.

Dr Fields this series has been so helpful to me.
I have be experiencing sluggishness in the lymph area around the right eyelid, behind the ears, the jaw and the side of my neck.
Which of your series or videos would you suggest I use to help move things along?
I really appreciate your help and wisdom.

I’m with you in this challenge, Adam. Your set of exercises for sleep apnea helped me incredibly. Breathing is so powerful. From being not able to sleep at all I came to sleeping everyday within newly established sleep cycle, recovered my cognitive functions to a greater extent, emotional spectrum, and regained the feeling of happiness. I’m still in the process, mixing your exercises with yoga, and 15-min sessions of 4-7-8 breathing, but it’s already a long way behind.

What could you advise for getting rid of the constant pressure in the back of my neck (and probably on sides of it) that goes up to the head? I’m been building up the ability to relax from scratch rly, and still struggling with this part.

Thank you!🖤
