👉How To Calm Anxiety Wherever You Are | #shorts

Square breathing is a really simple way to focus your mind as you slow your breathing down.

Focus your gaze on anything nearby, a window, door, picture frame. Just use it to trace your eyes around the shape as you count a 4 second intake of breath, hold it for 4 seconds and then breathe out for 4 seconds.

Keep breathing in this way and tracing your eyeline around the shape to help you focus. You can do this anywhere, any time and nobody even needs to know you’re doing it.

It can take a few minutes to calm the body but it can stop anxiety from escalating. Why not give it a try 😊

I really appreciate it❣️ i frequently have episodes of sudden anxiety, without any cause. I have been working on it. This trick would help me a lot in making sure the anxiety attacks dont turn into panic attacks ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing these videos! I have really bad social anxiety and I'm sociophobic as well. I'm anxious everytime I have to talk to someone and get scared everytime I have to do something in front of a lot of people. My anxiety is at worst when I'm in school. Your videos help me a lot!

These info videos have helped me MORE than you could EVER know ♡
Thanks so much for posting them.
I have suffered with severe anxiety, PTSD, MDD, addiction, BPD and sometimes I feel so so lost and unworthy of love or friendship. I feel like my relationships always start out so so great but about one year into the relationship they start to pull away because of some of my actions like social anxiety and FOA, overthinking things like just going to the store, worrying excessively and always being so so tired. I swear I could sleep my days away but then feel awful for doing it. I just wish the people closest to me could understand just how hard day to day activities can be foe me. They start to think my mental illness is just an excuse for not doing certain things etc. I could go on and on.
Please keep posting it really helps. 🙏 ♡

Thank you for this. For all the anxiety sufferers out there like me, we'll get through this. God is fighting for our battles. Anxiety is not here to harm us, is here to make us strong, stronger, and strongest.

I really don't like breathing exercises with given time periods. Because they are always so slow for me I feel like I'm gonna suffocate while others on the comments say they almost hyperventilated because it's way to fast for them. It might be a good exercise but everyone should find how long makes sense for them.

After watching cctv footage of a women getting crushed by an escalator, I have been having anxiety and I have not sleeped for 5+ days and I have had a nervous stomach ever since and this helped to sooth my stomach for a few minutes so I do this repeatedly at night.

I usually run my wrists under cold water in the bathroom, it helps A lot! Then put my cold wrists on my neck if i need a little extra zen, and literally rinse and repeat 🧊🥶☺️

Wow makes it easier I hate doing the counting so doing it visually is awesome

Breathing exercises involving counting give me more anxiety bc I overanalyze it and they feel unnatural, lol. I find the most effective way to breathe is by focusing on just sighing. That gives you a good, natural, and effective rhythm.
