Most underrated advice ever. People don’t want to hear it because they want there to be a “secret” or “easier way” when literally it’s always been a calorie deficit and consistency. 👏🏻

Just realized I'm doing everything right. I'm 6 weeks in, feeling stronger and down 10lbs of body fat. The consistency calender(fitness pal, Strava, calendar, etc.) is really key as I can look back and see what is working and what's not.

Trying so hard with the nutrition and workouts. My consistency has been pretty good...even over holidays. Not seeing any movement on the scale. I am frustrated but not defeated

Thank you for this mindset change. I have my mind on the number so much and when it doesn't move it definitely hits me mentally which puts me in a spiral.

Definitely needed to hear this because I always get frustrated when the scale doesn't move as much I expected. I'm exercising and eating in a calorie deficit so I'm going to keep doing this and not obsess so much over how much weight I lost each week. #pancakesyrupgang
