Keeping fit strong and healthy is hard enough when you're middle aged, but it's even tougher if your hips are playing up. Will Harlow is an expert physiotherapist who specializes in the problems that we face in middle age. In this video we discuss how we can help you have the best hip health. We cover everything from nutrition, supplements, surgery and rehabilitation.
It's a long video, so I have created a list of chapters so that you can watch them whenever you have time.

I had groin pain & my hip was giving way & I was frightened of falling. My GP a sent me to a physio who referred me to the local gym. Luckily they had a well being centre with toning chairs. I lost a lot of weight, then after my trial joined the gym. From there I also started aqua aerobics, learned to swim, do yoga & use the gym. At 75 I am the healthiest I’ve ever been. Have only occasional slight pain, no longer use a walking stick. Have just bought Will's book.

Wow, what a brilliant, informative and hugely useful discussion between two experts in their field. I have followed Will for over a year. His dedication and knowledge shines through his books, videos and weekly emails. This video gives extra insights to current thinking and practice from the different perspectives of surgery and physiotherapy and how they interplay. Hope to see more in due course.

Would you be able to provide the reference to the study on cycling for improving hip function? I would be interested in the details of the cycling program.

Very informative. Like the vitamin D advice. I have osteoarthritis so hopefully will never need a hip replacement. I have an extremely painful shoulder cuff and if I lift my arm too high the pain is unbearable. My gp has given me Naproxen tablets for this and recommended physiotherapy but I can't get on the waiting list just yet (gps are a bit out of touch with NHS waiting lists). I walk daily using a lot of your tips Will. Any advice you can give me. I also find Chinese balm helps. 😢
