Personally I like doing
1. Mid grip lat pull downs
2. Supinated grip pull downs
3. Reverse peck deck
4. Chest supported rows
5. Wide grip heavy shrugs

@MuscleMonsters, why not the seated cable row for exercise #1? The SCR affords excellent scapula movement, the ability to load heavy, and is easier to control the pull and release (for me). I appreciate your excellent and entertaining channel !

Wrong emg activation doesn’t mean muscle hypertrophy and Pendley row’s doesn’t allow for a full stretch as shown in science studies for growth..

Would EMG studies be very specific for that individual based on their limb length, insertions and previous training?

I think anything that has chest supported in it are the best types as it will be safer.

I think the erector spinae is excluded in this way. With bend over rows it would get stimulus. My idea would be chest supported row + lat pull downs/ lat prayers + RDL and for extra traps some shrugs.

U have the top trap middle trap which is one muscle and the lats that's it vertical shrugs horizontal shrugs and one arm lat pull ins is all u need rear delts part of your shoulder

Every person is different. Experiment with different movements. Some movements work and some dont. Dont waste time on exercises that you dont get any gains. Find the ones that work.

Seal rows can be used in place of penlay rows. Seal rows completely protect the lower back.

My lower back don't want anything like that 1st one shown. Training at home, I have only a small cheap flat bench. I do the lats standing leaning forward steadying myself by holding on to something in front. ...using a dumbbell. And with issues with my elbows as well at 60, I have to go light doing more reps and sets.
