Unfortunately, ALL of this happened to me. But this video will help me from making the same mistakes.💪 Thanks, Joel!👍

I agree with the first point but the second point, in my opinion, does not exactly correlate to muscle loss, from watching many people online they have said at the end of a cut they can lift for most approx 2/3 of their starting. The reason for this could be a decrease in calories leading to a decrease in macronutrients such as carbs to fuel a workout to match those lifts. Great video tho

the thing with these kinds of advice re: avoiding muscle loss is that if you aren't about to stand up on bodybuilding stage right after your cut, it doesn't really matter if you lose some muscle because you got muscle memory. You'll gain it back real quick.

Back to the gym after 2 weeks of food poisoning, down 6kg but hopefully haven’t lost too much strength 🙏

Best thing to do is just lift heavy, burn more calories throughout the weeks from it and keeps your strength was a game changer for me. No high frequency

When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from Next Level Diet). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3200 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

even if you lose muscle you will still have muscle memory so getting back is easy

Dont be confused guys or scared, you’re losing muscle size not muscle itself.

It's probably not just me, but I'll drop the weight to focus on my form more rather than keep the same weight and struggle to lift it with terrible form. Plus I'll feel the burn a lot more

I'm 70kg and trying to lose fat but I have a lower back injury and can't work out too hard. I eat above 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight. Aroundm 2.8-3g probably. Can I still keep my muscles that way or will I lose too much?

I know this is kind of hard to swallow but in reality, you shouldn’t lose any muscle or not a lot of muscle when cutting. You think you are losing a lot of muscle because you thought you had more muscle and less fat to begin with. But it’s the opposite, you had more fat and less muscle initially.
