I still lift weights at home. But I'm 67, prostate cancer, took 44 radiation treatments. My score is 161. And I feel drained by 11am.🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🏋️‍♂️But I'll never stop lifting!

tip 1 - resistance training
tip 2 - have a low body fat percentage
tip 3 - get enough sleep, and unwind before bed (instead of going on instagram)
tip 4 - get enough sunlight
tip 5 - take 2 supplements, Mucuna Pruriens, and Forty Winks (ZMA)

Sleep should be number one tip imo. So important. Therapy too. I personally find that resistance training is more important than diet for me because when i workout i end up (for some reason) making better food choices

Dude great improvement. I had a similar body recomp over the last 8 months. I had gained a lot of weight. I am 5’4” and at 39 years old was pushing 240lbs, at 37% body fat. My base blood pressure was 190/90 as an average. I had to go on blood pressure meds. I had a 40+ waist. I had a major life change, separating from my wife. I started working out, lifting, and started doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I did all that and got down to 225 and stagnated there for almost 2 years. In February of this year I decided to really look at something. I found my T levels were below 200. I also started studying the chemistry of the body and the impact of food on the body. I decided to not worry about my T levels and focus on my dietary issues and habits. After I figured my diet out the weight just fell off and my muscles mass increased substantially. I dropped from 225lbs to 170lbs at 18% body fat and under a 32 waist. I was able to get off of my blood pressure medication. Now my base is 110/70 with a resting heart rate of 48-54 bpm. My body feels super changed every day now. I lift really heavy 6 days per week, and do about 10-12 hours of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu per week 5-6 days per week. I need to check but my T level had to had increased over the past year. Thanks for the content.

Thank God that I started working out earlier in life, did more compound exercises and HIIT something now 50year old feeling very amazingly with muscle mass, recovering quickly, deeper sleep at night and sexlife is so great, just had my blood test, my value was amazing, Ldl/hdl was awesome, I eat about 8 eggs from my own free range chicken, loads with magnesium, zinc vitamin D3/K2 and omega 3 fatty.

I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months. All natural. This book should be essential reading for all men. Written by a 50s guy with natural T levels of a 20s guy.

I still cant believe you had lymes disease. So glad you are better coach!!!! I swear I live by garage strength videos, I have been weightlifting since 5 I am 27 now and am sick of never snatching 100kg. I watched my dad, who had 4 shoulder surgeries and still power snatched 110kg at age 45 he was a former Bundesliga competitor for a club out of Trier Germany. Weightlifting is in my blood but I was a hard head and only wanted to skateboard for the first 18 years of my life. I don't have a test deficiency by any means but I am trying to do everything to get back into the game (except PEDS) . Snatched 90kg like a week ago any I rarely train oly lifts more than 1x a week, I just spent the last 3 years rehabbing my own injuries and trying to build some muscle mass. Im now a whopping 170 lol, but lean. When I did an internship at the physiology lab at COCC here in Bend OR where I live, I did a hydrostatic weight and was 4% Body fat. My degree path in kinesiology, garage strength and honestly going back to school was what really helped my focus in my training. This year I will snatch 100kg and it will be partially due to garage strength, even though I train alone (because I don't know a single oly lifter in my town) I feel like your channel and athletes have pushed me and given me strength.
