I thought it was important for me to share this story with you because it’s probably the most significant one that shaped me and my whole outlook on life. I hope that it can spark a little inspiration or serve as a reminder that it’s never too late to change if you are not happy with the current trajectory of your life.

"We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection." - Brené Brown.

"discomfort is a sign of your growth"
That was deep and eye opening for me. Thx

I love her voice. It's so soothing and can help when you're having a bad day and you just need some advice from a big sis.

I've heard "You used to be more fun" and it stings. It's just a painful reminder that we can outgrow friendships, but that's ok. Thank you for sharing your story and wisdom ♥️

I was widowed 5 years ago at the age of 54. I've spent 5 years clinging to the widow title and living safely in limbo. I needed to hear this. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story in such a thoughtful way.

I decided to change my life recently but never thought it would be that hard. It feels like even my body refuses to leave habits of old life and begin to do things that I really want. I spent about three years in depressed state, and still overcoming it, that's what's making things harder for me. But I know I will get over it. I know I can. But it's harder than it seemed.
Your story really is inspiring, and I think I just figured out some things for myself.
Thank you. <3

Love the way you narrate and it's important to be a narrater of your own story.

Sophie, this is so timely. I've been talking to my hubby a lot lately about "changing the narrative", ever since we moved to a new place. 5 years ago, I couldnt code, rollerblade, bake, or dance, and all that changed because I decided to rewrite my narrative. This is so encouraging as I continue to navigate change and growth in life!

I think it’s a testament to the transparency of this video that so many strangers feel compelled, yet safe, to share their stories in response. That’s powerful.

"Because everyone's battle is so unique and different." How right you are. I used to play down my mom's narcissm and the pain and trouble she sends the family through and sometimes, I still do. "Hey, some people don't have parents, you do." But it is painful, it is difficult. And accepting that it is a vulnerable part of your soul is the first and most important step. Sending you my support and love!

Thank you for sharing this, related on so many levels, & I've been guilty of this mentality early on & still working on.
