Just realized the most toxic thing about me was that I was attracted to the narcissist because they seemed like the only person in my life who actually cared 😢. These antics he describes seemed like caring. The fact that he kept trying to communicate seemed to me like he really cared. That’s how much I was ignored by my own husband (now ex) - that even negative attention seemed like love and caring. Sometimes I’m so sad for my former self. Thank goodness I have learned my lessons, painful as they were.

This is true. Unfortunately, I have blocked my ex and his text and voice-mails still come through and he knows. So I get dozens of text, calls and voicemails daily because he knows they're getting through. I'm noy sure how to fix the problem, but I finally got to the point where I've learned to 1. Stop reacting to his BS 2. Stop falling for his manipulation, fake love bombing and fake emergencies and 3. Most importantly, STOP RESPONDING!

He’s completely blocked, changed my number, hit him with a restraining order AND divorce papers all at once after 31 yrs of being married to a covert narcissist. He now has a criminal protection order against him for 3 yrs. I kicked him out. He can’t come within 100 yards from me.

Bingo! I blocked about 20 additional people that he used as flying monkeys to watch my socials, to text from their phones, etc. I blocked all those flying monkeys on every level too. That way, he knows now how PERMANENT the bolts in my door are. Sure, he tried creating dummy social media accounts…so I blocked those too 🔒🔒🔒

Yeah he hated the lack of attention from me wen I was mad lol, but that was in the very beginning now it’s no contac from me

well i dont like being ignored. i think its normal. but my narc verbally told me that i need to chase her try harder. etc. but i don't know what or how. i did this, because i did want her back. but never was it random, it was always trying to talk about what happened. i gave up tho. f that

My ex tried calling yesterday and i gnored it once i noticed. he tried again and honestly i just missed both calls because i have a newborn to care for now.

He probably wants to tell me his new wife just had a baby or to tell me his granny died. Wtf, nmore attentionon for him...i didnt think he'd ever call again after i told him our daughter was born. I tried to reach out and he said he tough luck, I should have had an abortion... anyway i just find that when i block him, i think about him way more and have severe anger and bitterness. So i unblocked him and just think way less about him... not everyday is the same. Im pretty sure ill eventually block him and not just have deleted the contact info.

It's enough to cut off your past and your expectations towards that person. Lover his value. Open yourself to other people . Ther is over 7 billion people there..I'm sure u can find one for yourself!!...unless..u love to struggle..cuz of, ,unfinished business " with someone toxic..😢 I left after 25 years. Wasted time. Now I see beauty in the smallest things ..😊 U can make your life simple and beautiful..if u stay - you will get problems and sickness. I got high blood pressure. Now is better since I've been alone. So I call my other kid and said, he wants to talk why he doesn’t call ?
Just play stupid games
Like you are insignificant to me I don’t want to hear your voice.
So last weekend he called
I called him back, and guess… acting nice, how are you ? What you doing ?
I said; can you rent a carpet cleaner next week ? He said: whatever you need !
He thinks he got me! But NO I got him.
