Standing Pilates for Seniors- 30 minutes of exercise to Improve Strength & Build Confidence

Join me for a 30 Minute standing pilates workout for Seniors 60+ Live! This is a full body routine to increase mobility, flexibility and strength. With exercises to ease the general aches & pains in the joints and spine that come with age, as well as exercises to help combat loss of strength, coordination and balance. The saying 'use it or lose it' is so true! Doing these exercises regularly will improve all these things and buils your strength so I am recommending you build up to doing this workout at least twice a week. I've taught these exercises to my Senior clients in London, they are ages 60- 83. Take your time and do what you can, if anything is too challenging for you right now, don't worry, just rest and come back and try again when you're ready. Take care of yourselves.

The session will be followed by a Q & A where from the comfort of your own home you can ask me questions, or just say hello whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea at a safe social distance.

I’ve added this helpful, effective session to my absolute favorites list! These are the sessions that have helped me the most in my brain surgeries recovery- it’s taken years past the official Neuro pt (immediately after procedures) to see improvements in balance and ataxia. You just have to plug away doing some exercises every day…so grateful I found Rachel during the pandemic lockdown! Doing a few sessions a week, then increasing to daily sessions when you started putting up monthly playlists, and I’ve kept going. I switch between intermediate and beginner, gentle sessions, depending on how I’m feeling. Fatigue and balance will be lifelong, so it’s a real blessing to be able to choose from your extensive catalog of classes. You’ve improved my quality of life immeasurably!😊❤

I’ve been doing your videos from my TV as well as on my computer, but if on TV, as soon as I finish it I come onto my iPad to click “like”! I wish I could click from the TV! Maybe someday it will allow it. I absolutely LOVE all the videos. THANK YOU,

Hi Rachel. I just did your half hour workout. I am a healthy 69 year old with mild arthritis in my knees. Your workout is perfect. At least three times a week.
