Join me for a 30 Minute standing pilates for Osteoporosis and Osteopenia - this session is aimed at people over 50 and Seniors but is suitbable as a strength traininbg session for all age groups. This is a full body routine to improve balance, strength, endurance and give you a light cardio workout. With osteoporosis and osteopoenia it's very important to do weight bearing exercise regularly to combat the loss of strength, coordination and balance that comeds with age and in addtion the need to build healthy bones with these condtions. The saying 'use it or lose it' is so true! Doing these exercises regularly will improve all these things and build your strength so I am recommending you build up to doing this workout at least twice a week. I've taught these exercises to my Senior clients in London, they are ages 60- 83. Take your time and do what you can, if anything is too challenging for you right now, don't worry, just rest and come back and try again when you're ready. Take care of yourselves.

The session will be followed by a Q & A where from the comfort of your own home you can ask me questions, or just say hello whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea at a safe social distance.

Dear Rachel. Quite challenging at 85 with osteoporosis and osteopenia but really great. My days revolve around my workouts with you after which I always feel alive and loose. Balance is starting to challenge if I dont “use it” x x x

Rachel, thank you again for another wonderful session for seniors! I missed it live on Monday but I have just listened to the chat and love the suggestions for further classes - especially on core work and I have a magic circle! I also did your stretch bad session the other day. I will endeavour to do Pilates every day, even if it is just one of your 10 minute session!
