Standing Pilates Workout | 30 Mins | Full Body Sculpt Session

Join me for a 30 minute full body standing pilates wortkout. This session will exercise the whole body and raise the heart rate-all with the calm, attention to detail we use in Pilates. This routine has upper body work to strengthen the back, shoulders and arms, as well as functional standing exercises to build leg, hip and glute strength, increase joint mobility and balance and increase core strength and control. All of which will help sculpt and tone your body.

I recommend everyone incorporate standing workouts into their fitness routines- they're simple and very effective. This routine starts with warm up movements, then progressively gets more challenging, so stick with it to the end! It'll raise the heart rate, challenge your balance and coordination and build real strength and muscle tone in the legs. It can work as a stand alone routine for anyone of any age, or as a prep for a big workout day such as a long run or cycle ride.

Hello Rachel,

I have been involved and done exercise regularly all my life but never Pilates. I recently had a c5 corpectomy and was only allowed to walk for 3 months following the op before starting gentle rehabilitation. I was doing your standing Pilates sessions, just 10 or 20 minutes several times a week and feel it has really helped me with recovery. I am back to normal activities now but still include your sessions as they are so valuable and achievable, and my balance is much improved. You are so calm and clear in your instructions. Thank you

Love you, Rachel! I was babysitting my Granddog on Monday and wasn't able to join you. But I am home again and will be doing this workout. It has been 97 degrees F here. My iPhone tells me that is 36 Cel. We do have AC, thankfully... Last year it got to 116 F, 46 . I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, usually the coolest, wettest part of the U.S. So it was quite unbelievable. It was Freakish. Much love...
