Sometimes I make something similar to this. I don't bother blending the ingredients. I just mix them in a cup/bowl, cover it, and store it in the fridge overnight. That makes fewer things to wash afterwards. For the plant-based milk, I recommend soy milk if you need high protein

Chia seed pudding is how I found out that I’m allergic to chia seeds. If you’ve never had chia before (or any new potential allergen foods honestly) I’d recommend trying a little at a time and save yourself the hospital trip.

love love love it! However, the recipe will change your life if you don't drink enough water after consuming that much chia. Constipation ahoy! so drink lots of water & I am def trying this recipe with just 1 tsp of chia..

Chia seeds can also cause constipation because they clump together and clog up intestines. You should pulsate them in a blender before using 🥰

Chia seeds are NOT loaded with protein. May be if you eat a cup of it. This will be a balanced breakfast if you add a scoop of good quality protein powder that does not have fillers.

And to those who wonder what the bottom is, it’s yogurt. I would totally use honey/vanilla or plain Greek yogurt. Recipe below 👇🏽

Ingredients:
1/2 cup blueberries
3 tbsp rolled oats
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup plant-based milk
4 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions:
Combine the blueberries, maple syrup, vanilla oats and plant-based milk in a blender until smooth.

Transfer the berry milk to a bowl, and stir in the chia seeds. Allow to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Serve with vegan yogurt or as a delicious topping to oatmeal. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
