I hurt my back six weeks ago and have been doing this video for five weeks, almost every day (after my other Amy workouts). Not only has this gentle workout improved my back pain a lot, my tummy is flatter than it's been in a year : ) Amy, thank-you for so generously sharing your knowledge with us. I will add my enthusiastic kudos to the many great comments here. I was surprised by back twinges this morning, so this was my first workout of the day. I was careful, and felt much better. I will continue to do it along with other short ST and cardio routines during my work breaks. Thank you again, Amy!

TY for making this video. Currently as I'm out of shape, I just cannot do traditional ab workouts with legs in the air and even some planking will set my lower back on fire. I desperately want to work my core so i can eventually do those harder workouts! Your workout was safe but also seemed productive. I could even do some of the moderate modifications. Anyway, thank you. I was getting so frustrated with other core workouts. I will also try your standing video. :)

Love this. My lower and mid back have really been bothering me due to mild scoliosis. This was so gentle on my back as doing anything with weights feels like torture when I’m hurting. Thank you Amy for thinking of absolutely everyone when you make so many many different types of workouts to accommodate just about everything. I’m so grateful

I worked as a personal trainer and Physical Therapy aide for 2 years...this is exactly the type of ab workout you should be do doing for your spine....awesome. YouTube is NOT a replacement for a licensed physical therapist...but this comes close. Work that transverse abdominis!

this is one of those important videos i need to start doing lower back stuff... Starfishies are good for it as well once your strength is getting there. i used to do them i need to do this stuff more, i just lift weights too much and forget about all this too often

Hi Amy! I love your videos! You're awesome! The only request I have is to get rid of the music: it's hard to hear you, and it's impossible to find music that will please everyone. Keep it simple...We just want you! That way we can hear you, and if we want music we can listen to our own. Thanks again!

Just what my back needed today! I've been dealing with some harsh lower back pain over the past week and have been slowly working with yoga to ease the tension--But, I've been missing my daily work-outs with you, Amy! Fantastic set of moves, had not come across some of them before, thank you! (I found the music somewhat distracting, but I suppose I can always turn the sound off).
