So valuable. Emotions take over and life is hell. It will get better again. Either the problems get solved, or you get used to the problems and can deal with them again, widening your comfort zone

My 22 year old cousin passed away in a tragic car collision last Christmas day and since then I’ve experienced sadness like never before. It truly feels like it’s never going to end. You begin to doubt everything in life. I’m only starting to recover now.. almost 6 months after. Stay strong and do reach out to other people for help. It gets better 🙏

I quickly focus on a positive thought, each time l think negatively.
Using this approach I'm: 'making my mind over.' Rewiring brain synapses.

So very true, anxiety is a debilitating illness, I rarely suffer with anxiety but can spot it coming on and have learnt to switch it off, thanks.

When my mind is moving fast i always think "out of the mind and into the body". I do dance, and it can be so fascinating to channel the frustrations into it. Something bad can become fuel and have a use. It can really help to transmute pain with creativity.

Bless this man's incredible ability to download hard science into relatable lay terms. A monument of this century in addressing exactly what is going on with the human population in this digitally ramped up era, to everyone's confusion, overwhelm and consternation.

When I'm very upset I start doing my household chores or going on a walk with my dogs.

I can't concentrate properly so I can't work with my mind. In the past when I was very upset I started some of my martial arts training routines to find my balance again.

One of the most profound comments I've ever heard on a YouTube video was from Backyard Scientist--he had just intentionally touched a plant with an extremely painful sting, and said something to the effect of "If I didn't know this was going to go away in a few minutes, I would be freaking out right now."

Yes. 100%. Perfect Example? The “Sunday Scaries”! Lol, have them right now. Sometimes, if anxiety kicks up a notch, they can start as early as Friday!! 😂😢😮

These days it seems like I am on edge, I'm 21 and I've been preparing for med school for 4 years and I didn't get in.
It seems like everything is finished like there is nothing left for me in this world nothing to do and it makes me feel like I'll be jobless my whole life.
I know nothing stays for forever and I'll be able to do something I really want to do in my life. But my anxiety and stress has been so getting so high these days I can't focus on anything and it's like a Neverending tunnel of darkness.
We shouldn't really mind what others say or think about us, and I used to be like that, it really didn't mattered to me whether someone think good of me or bad but now I'm like every single thing people say when they look down on me, they point at me is so painful.

The only reason of me going through all this is that how will I survive, how will I be able to do things I've always wanted to for myself and my parents if don't earn.

I've always felt the lack of guidance in my life and I still do, i hope I'll be able to guide myself.
