Agreed. I've been on a big journey switching from mouth breathing and opening blockages and letting go of facial tension

As a massage therapist and caregiving I've noticed that it's all muscle memory and can be fixed with blood circulation

For the past few months I’ve been massaging my face after each wash. Using my knuckles to dig deep into the muscles and using my fingers to gently tap the surface. I’ve also included verbal affirmations as I’m doing this in the mirror. 😊 A few weeks ago, my parents best friends looked at me and say, “wow sweetie, you look so young (I’m 37) and your face looks longer—more oval than round!” She said I had a round face with big round cheeks but now it just looks like I had a face lift which she even dared to ask if I had a face lift or Botox. lol I live in LA and those procedures are very normal but I’m 100% natural and I prefer holistic beauty. Though, I just might try Botox when I’m much older. Who knows? hehe

Yep. I'm actually chewing my hard gum for facial exercises right now. My phone camera must have picked up on that and showed me this video.
I've been doing it for two weeks and my fifty year old female jowls are lifting already.
I chew large hard gums often throughout the day.

If you are going to do jaw exercises, be careful of some of the tools that are online. You can actually damage the hinge of your jaw if you aren't careful.

Licensed massage therapist of thirteen years here I also noticed that myofascial release on the face is a godsend! We need to combine the Neuroscience with psychology counseling and myofascial release

Austin Goh has a channel where he teaches the facial muscle exercises and much more. He’s almost as good as Huberman ❤

I would like to see the studies that prove facial exercises or jaw exercises improve cheekbone fullness. As someone with tmj disorder I am not a candidate for jaw exercises, chewing is painful enough as it is. Also, jaw exercises can cause tmj issues. Many dermatologists say that facial yoga is not proven to make much of a difference in facial structure and can cause further deepening of wrinkles. I am not saying he is wrong, and obviously he is an intelligent man but I think this is a topic that he is not best suited to speak on. I can't say that cheekbone implants would be a great solution either, but jaw exercises may not be a great idea to improve your appearance because it can cause tmj disorder. Speaking from personal experience (anecdotal) tmj disorder has caused more facial dissymmetry, and more importantly it has caused a lot of pain.

Perhaps, dentist should be included in the discussion. Early in my education, I learned, people who lose posterior teeth and/or wear dentures facial structure changes due to loose bone and connective tissues.
“I’m a super Ager” with no cosmetic surgery. I focused on teeth heath.
