When moving from a lifestyle of "eat all day" to a lifestyle of "separate eating window and fasting window" it can be confusing to know exactly what causes you to come out of that fasted state.

Diet coke, tea, coffee, gum, mints, apple cider vinegar... we get these questions DAILY.

Ask yourself what you are trying to achieve. Stem cells, autophagy, or ketosis?

Try to not have anything during your fasting window... but if you MUST, there is a way to test! Since everybody responds to food differently, it's important to test your own blood sugar.

I had Covid, lost taste and smell. Did a 72 hour fast. My taste came back and seemed to be enhanced! So happy I did this.

I am now in my 50’s and kept on gaining 2 pounds every year without losing them even with diet and exercises. Even though I am not overweight, I have an incidental finding via imaging that I have a fatty liver and came across Dr. Berg”s you tube about fatty liver and started fasting and detoxing my body. My husband joined me too. After a month of doing it, I came across the glucosegoddess you tube videos and yours so now we are incorporating your intermittent fasting. So excited to buy your book, it is like a gem. We are nurses for so long and nobody in health care taught us these. I refused to overload my body with medicine, with just a month, I lost 16 pounds and I felt like I got my body back and I am happier too. I started preaching it to my coworkers and patients. Thank you very much for all that you are doing. So grateful for you.

My sister & her husband got covid. She ended up being a "long hauler" and was always tired even 5 months later. We started to do 2 weeks of one 24hr fast, 3rd week 48hr fast and 4th week one- 72 hr fast.
Her energy level returned!

I started this 5 years ago I was 250 pounds and in 6 or 7 months I got down to 170 then I got down to 160 and that was my good weight since then I've stayed around 155 to 160

Also, Stevia is compounded with Corn. It’s not always labeled. I had a migraine for almost an entire year using Stevia not knowing there’s hidden Corn in it. Corn for me triggers Migraines & I could not figure out what was triggering that long migraine. It wasn’t until I kept a journal and added one thing and took notes & then added something new & finally I realized it was the Stevia. So I called the company & they said the FDA doesn’t require them to label Corn that’s compounded with it to stabilize it. Corn is hidden in a LOT of things that are suppose to be safe for people with blood sugar issues, but the FDA doesn’t enforce it being labeled. It’s really hard for us that are both allergic to Corn & then get triggered by it.

Fasting chart. Doing intermittent fasting but I believe smarter this time than in the past. I say this because I think I finally gained control over my incredible sugar cravings by adding more and better nutrient rich whole foods to my two meals a day no snacks. Thank you so much for the incredible information that you bring to people to live happier, healthier lives!!❤️🙏❤️

Since I began to fast I feel the best. I never eat when at work because I found out that I'm more productive and very concentrated when not eating 😊

Reset experience! 8 months of fasting and I’m 18kgs down. 5 kgs more to go! Thanks for all the knowledge you share here. Really helps us a lot. I break my fast with warm water+ACV and lemon. And I don’t eat after7pm.

Now trying to get into 3 days water fasting.

YOU ARE FANTASTIC !!! - I AM GETTING MY COGNITIVE FUNCTION (memory, brain fog gone, trouble finding words)BACK! You have no idea how grateful i am for all your video's. I Did a 3 day water fast - one feast day, now I am doing a 5 day fasting mimicking (second day). I hope is that I can start to work again in december after 5 years of being home sick and terribly broke. I also watched Valter Longo and read The End of Alzheimers. I am just not sure whether it is beneficial for memory rebuilding and lifting brain fog to do the 5 day fasting mimicking 3 times in a row in one month with feasting days in between. I still have my cycle. plus Valter said that the rebuilding of the system happens after the fast. I was thinking doing the meditereanian diet during the feast days but on an 18/6 schedule and once in a while throw in a free day where I eat 12/12 still meditereanian.

I noticed how much more time do I have while fasting. Everything in western diet evolves around food. Everything!! It's incredible.

Sometimes I can tell that coffee or tea breaks my fast, and sometimes it doesn't. My issue is really that it's impossible to sleep when I am fasting. That's why I stick with the daily version. But, I'd love the benefits of the longer fasts. I can't afford to miss sleep! I have been doing fasting for 5 years.
