30 MIN Dumbbell Abs and Booty

Its time to get our strength on with some dumbbells! This workout is quick but intense!
We start with a 5 minute warm up to get our joints and muscles ready for action, then we head into the workout.

I have set up the workout like this:
30 seconds weighted leg/booty exercise
30 seconds abs conditioning exercise (without weight)
20 seconds rest (to catch your breath, then pick up your weights again)

We cycle through this until we reach the last few minutes of the workout where we will do a bodyweight burn out.

It may seem unbelievable, the amount of sweat you see at the beginning of this video...but oh my goodness I was DRIPPING. This workout has a way of activating all the right muscles and turning your inner furnace UP!

After you complete this workout, I would like for you to drink LOTS of water- loads. This will help you recover properly and will make sure you arent giving into snacking habits when your body is really just telling you that you are thirsty.

I took like 7 breaks, yet I completed it. I wanted to stop, my mind wanted me too but my body said “I’m up for it if you are” so I got my mind aligned. I’m proud of myself, I did it. And I’m going to do it again no matter how many breaks I need, no matter how much times I stop I will do it again. I love that for me

Already lost 5 pounds this week doing your exercises . Was 180 and down to 175 from just starting Monday. My goal weight is 155. Just want to be consistent and keep going . Healthy body and mind is my overall achievement !!! Thank you Jo!!!💕💕

I often quit workouts, but yours are so fun that I keep doing it! My starting weight 1, 5 months ago was 57 kg and my goal weight is 48 kg. Now i'm 54 kg. Good luck to you all, sis. We can do it 💪🏻 💕💕💕

This workout was intense. I have CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) and this caused me a lot of pain, but I am here to cheer myself on because I completed it!! I fought through the pain and made it to the finish line. Don't give up on yourself, YOU GOT THIS!!

My goal for the new month is simply to continue showing up for myself and being consistent with my workouts. Everytime I would start a “day 1” on my fitness journey, I would give up after only two weeks. It’s now been over a month this go around and I’m so proud of myself! So grateful for Jo and this channel that has helped me tremendously ❤️❤️❤️

Please keep more of this strength, cardio and conditioning workouts coming! My body loves this type of fitness challenge. For this one, I used my 4kg dumbells and moved slower just because in total I was pushing 8Kgs and endurance and proper form is key:) Looking forward to more workout combinations like these. Ngl, this was my most challenging workout yet. I couldn't keep up with the pace, and i ended up doing the moves at my own pace. I felt my energy depleting towards the end, and i started feeling hungry. Im proud of myself for sailing through the whole video.

Yay more dumbbells!!! I love your workouts and I’m so ready for this one. You have helped me lose 15lbs since August. My goal for November will be to lose a minimum of 5lbs. I have to be realistic with myself or I will give up. “Girl…Let’s do this!!” *In my Jo motivational voice*

My personal goal for this new month is to go to sleep and wake up earlier. Lately, I have not been doing that and sometimes my days feel so unproductive. However, the good part is I'm still incorporating your workout videos for most of the week so there's some productivity. 😁

My endurance has definitely increased by doing your workouts! A few weeks ago I couldn't finish this because I was too weak but by being consistent with your videos, I was able to do this whole video!!!! So so so grateful for you girl!

My consistency with working out has been on and off because of work and some familial issues. I finally managed to workout 4 days this week after nearly 2.5 weeks of not working out. I was pushing myself so hard to finish this workout even though I wanted to give up *so* many times. I am so glad I did not give in and finished the workout. Once again Jo you smashed it and so did I!!!! The sweat is literally dripping off me, so much so I think I will have to Kept up (just about) Took the lunge exercises very carefully as repairing my knee, but know that you need to strengthen the muscles above to help. Your classes are just so FUN you really don't think about what you are doing and your smile is so infectious. I love your classes and think you are just the BEST. I am an old bird and have done so many online classes with so many different instructors, so please believe me when I say your classes are genuinely just THE Thank you🥰

So I have said this before and I’m gonna say it again. Once covid hit I became such a couch potato and got so soft even though I had been working out for years prior I feel like I gave myself an excuse to quit. I found your workouts about 4 months ago and I’m hooked!! I have been just doing these workouts with the weights and rotating them and I feel STRONGER every time!! I can feel my body getting stronger and I know I need cardio too, this weekend my husband and I went jogging and walking too so I have been mixing it up a little but I’m OBSESSED with these weight workouts with cardio!! You have me hooked and I honestly didn’t think I could ever enjoy a workout at home!! Thanks for your videos Jo!!
