People that are truly intimidating don't ever think about being intimidating. As a matter of fact, they are surprised when others tell them that they are intimidating

It's better to be alone than feel fake love.

I often wish this didn't describe me. The common theme here is that your strength is intimidating to others; however, what is not mentioned here is that this intimidation (intentional or not) often leads to attempts at retaliation from others who are insecure. It is exhausting to deal with and often, speaking for myself, makes you prefer to be alone due to your dislike of the weakness of others.

You should not worry about being intimidating you should worry about if you’re accomplishing your goals

My dad left when i was 3, momma didnt love me " i am just like my father " so i struggle with criticism and affirmation. A father instills confidence. As i have gotten older and have made many missteps. I realize i have had to learn the hard way. But now I'm free own my own business. Im blessed

I keep my stoicism in a box.
Like most things in life it is a tool to be used when needed.
It definitely isn't for boosting your own ego or as an excuse to be nasty to another human being and get off on it.
It's there for when life decides to throw what it can at you.
It's a shield. Use it

I'm a shift supervisor and an introvert. Alot of my coworkers don't talk to me, even though I'm very professional and hardworking. A worker from another department admitted that she rather not talk to me because I talk like a really smart person, and she finds me intimidating. I have a feeling my coworkers may share her thoughts about me.

I'm just a regular person. I don't talk shit about people, I'm not into rumors or gossip.

Being alone will make you stronger than being with a group of people 💯

One of my favorite quotes right now "You want to shop without always looking at the price tag, work without always looking at the clock"

Armored Wisdom. I've just learned to stand alone. Other than my mother, I really don't trust anyone complicitly anymore.

People confuse confidence for arrogant. And those types of people need to follow someone.

If people won't listen to what I have to say I am more than willing to let them walk out in front of a bus just to prove my point because I refuse to be dictated by fools when I know that I am right.

Knowing your fart is going to be obnoxiously loud in a crowded quiet room and letting it rip is true stoicism.

Being alone and in solitude i find the most relaxing and rewarding. No distractions from the outside or the influence of others and their inabilities. In other words. No Drama.

The best thing I ever did was get in shape. It does wonders for your self confidence and self esteem. I was in average shape before, now I run 10km a day, 7 days a week, eat a healthy meal, then before I go to bed bike 20km's. I work in a agency of 5000 people, and talk to 3 people. Women now approach me, and I say, "Hi, have a great day." and walk away, Not interested at all. Two people I can thank for my transformation; David Goggins, and Jocko Willink. I'm NEVER going back. MAN THE 'F UP BROTHERS!

Armored Wisdom ❤Always knew I was different growing up. They called me, “Unique Monique”. My morals and beliefs fit so well with Stoicism.
