This is amazing. Will this work and be safe if the gluteal syndrome is possibly due to a disc bulge in L4-L5? It could be the disc or in concert with gluteal tendinopathy. I definitely have tendinopathy, as confirmed during an ultrasound in my groin, hips, glutes, even deep in the hamstring. The piriformis is likely lengthened and spasms and needs to be shortened (strengthened). At the same time, if the disc bulge is cutting off blood flow and its only affecting my right side, how much of is the bulge versus the tendinopathy itself?

I have a very tight TFL/vascus(sp?) Muscle that has some kind of adhesion pressing on the nerve and travels down the leg. it's very deep and can be very painful to press out. It's why I cant sleep on the right side. It's severely weak and is likely the other big source of my pain. It's a catch 22 to strengthen glutes when trying to untangle very tight fibrous tissue feels like trying to untangle cooked, frozen glued spaghetti strands. Working the glute med and min makes me think it's going to just make my TFL/hip even tighter and then my glutes will spasm. It's why I think shockwave therapy might be the answer here.

With all these exercises, it's overwhelming to know where to start, especially with pain. I feel like if I could get shockwave and maybe cold laser therapy on the disc and my hips and glutes, then I could focus on strengthening pain free.

Your videos are my answer .My left piriformus is pinching my nerves, truly i know the spot if i press there my 2small toes twitch, even if i lay down on that side for a while the toes start twitching and i have bursitis on that left hip, i sleep with a pillow between my thighs. I did physical therapy after a big inflammation, i have osteoarthritis from hypothyroidism. Im 52 and my mobility is medium. I cannot keep up any routine.I do want to, i truly do but i have low endurance if i push my cortisol go high then my sleep becomes bad again i do moderate fasting and low carb diet for my wight, i mostly do loww iit and trampoline but not all the time.

Trying to watch everything and put it all together but it's so overwhelming. I injured my left tricep tendon 7 years ago and started slowly compensating. Raised left trap, hypertrophied, limited range on the left side shoulder ( wall angels etc ), tight lat, some scap winging, mid back knots pain, left hip/knee slightly twisted.
