The only consistency in life is change. This goes for your mental health as well. So although you can’t ‘just stay better’ in a static state, this also means, you won’t ‘just stay down’ either! Let’s try to keep those down-times under control by being able to recognize the signs of struggle.

The genshin impact references, wow. It mixes perfectly well with the points made in the video. Qiqi having very poor memory, Ei being a shut-in, Sayu being lazy and etc. Great job on the video, it’s perfect.

4 Signs You're Struggling With Your Mental Health

Number 1: Genshin Impact

Even though I’ve been through this before, I never learn to recognise the symptoms when it comes around again. Still being exhausted after 8 hours sleep. Isolating myself and cancelling plans for no reason. Being lethargic. Losing interest in my hobbies and watching crap online. Finding it hard to focus or think at work. Videos like this really help.

To anyone who reads this you are awesome and whatever it is your going through, it is temporary and you’re stronger than you think. Good luck out there guys.

If I'm ever confused about emotions in my life, I go straight to this channel to try and figure out what they could mean. Seeing my favourite GI characters here makes my day!

It's nice to know there's someone out there that is aware of how mental health really works, and that they're trying to educate everyone properly. ❤❤❤

I realise that a lot of the points in this really have been happening a lot to me lately. Especially the one about filling your head with negative thoughts that you begin to lose track of who you are. Sometimes I think to myself if my friends just get busy at convient times or if they're actively trying to avoid me and it causes me to question if I have to change the way I act because it's affecting our friendships.

Omg this nailed it. Living on my own for the first time in my life, car's been in the shop since Xmas, haven't seen my kids in 5mos, broke up with my LDR and I've been like this since Nov. No matter how much I sleep, I'm constantly tired. Quit social media. Only leave my apartment to walk to the store for food. Hobbies are dead.

When you need a break from work, you take a vacation. What if you need a break from life?

I relate with all this. I'm exhausted even getting a 7-8 hour of sleep, I can't focus on my work properly. I'm suffering in silence. I'm unstable rn and I have no one to share my feelings that's why I stopped explaining things. I just don't wanna bother people with my own issues.

i'm actually experiencing all of these right now and not just my mental health but also my physical health. all i can say is "I'm dying.... And i'm gonna die young". my depression has even gotten me into even more pain when i really messed up in my job interview last week and thinking of that event, doesn't really settle well in my mind. idk why i'm like this.

Thank you for the informative content. As someone who experiences depersonalization, I feel the most difficult part is being unable to appreciate the good moments that happen to you because of that disconnect from your physical self. Something that helps me feel grounded is thinking about the 5 senses, focussing in on each of them and describing each sensation in detail. Might not work for everyone, but definitely try it if you are also struggling with staying present.

The 1st sign should be the reason why you clicked this video. It shows that you are questioning your mental stability. Thank you once again for an awesome video Psych2Go!

A huge sign of crippling anxiety is when you feel like your head is "too loud" from your inner voices/inner dialog where it's hard to go blank for more than a few seconds. The only way it can really be described as is it being too loud.

I used to always think this was normal and idk how many sleepless nights I had as a child before learning I had an anxiety disorder and my mind finally felt quiet after getting put on medication. No more whispering curses under my breath from something I'm over thinking about or hating myself over. They say everyone is self conscious, everyone over thinks sometimes. But when your head is always too loud from those thoughts, it's NOT NORMAL and you should seek professional help.

Btw I don't mean psychosis where you hear voices in your mind. The only voice I ever heard was internally and I knew it was my own like for example if I think "I shouldn't have worn that dress today" is my inner dialog.

I feel like uni has really weakened my mental health. These days I procrastinate way more than I normally do due to being so exhausted and feeling really bad about it at the end of the day. I’m going abroad to study next year and I’m really hoping that this change helps my mental health. I’m glad there are other people feeling this way!

Amanda Silvera - I am a mental health practitioner - psych PA, your voice is so calming. Regardless of subject matter (presentations tend to be awesome), your voice is therapeutic in itself. I gives me a sense of wellbeing. I hope you know that your voice is a gift and a talent. Thank you!
