I drink raw whole milk on carnivore and LOVE it! Farm I get it from is top notch and milk is so creamy. There is so much negativity around dairy but it in my experience is magic, nourishes my body like nothing else, gives me so much sustained energy. It's the missing link to make carnivore work long term.

I'm lactose intolerant, drinking milk gave me asthma, IBS, acne and a constant blocked nose. I stopped drinking milk years ago when I found it was the cause of my issues and have only had cheese sparingly since then as my nose blocks up within hours and I get acne within a few days. I've been carnivore for almost 9 months and the difference in my health is amazing. I was advised to try raw dairy. I'm now a huge believer in n=1 experiments so I got 4l of fresh raw milk from a local farm. I drank about a litre before going to bed that night, it was absolutely delicious, but I was prepared for the consequences. In the morning... nothing. I drank the rest over a few days. Apart from a little grumbling in my tummy, nothing. I've got another 4l this week. Still no acne, no IBS, no blocked nose. I am loving drinking this thick, creamy, luscious liquid gold.

I’ve been purchasing raw dairy from the same farm coop since 2008. No ill effects. I started with milk and buttermilk. Once I discovered kefir, I never bought buttermilk again.

At least 6 days a week, I start my day (after green tea) with 8 oz of kefir. Any raw dairy products contribute to muscle growth if you are working out to do that.

It’s a divine blessing!

Dear Bella, just use a finer strainer to take out the grains.

Most amazing thing happened to me after I started drinking raw milk and raw kefir. Bad breath went completely away. This is an issue I've suffered with for years; and I tried EVERYTHING to solve the problem, but nothing worked. After just 2 weeks of incorporating raw milk into my diet, foul breath disappeared. Bad taste in mouth also went away. I don't even get morning breath anymore. I didn't even change anything else about my diet. I'm completely blown away

I ferment my kefir in stainless steel vessel that i get the milk in, it works great, just as well as glass vessel. And you can even use stainless steel strainer. As long as it is not a reactive metal like iron, your in the clear.

Pro tip: after 25-35 hours: Strain and put into jars with an airtight lid. This is the second ferment, and this makes it more fizzy.

Im currently on a weight loss journey i am a 28 yr old woman who used to be vegan for 6 yrs, fruitarian for almost 3 months and vegetarian for 1 year. Ever since i went vegan i started struggling with severe ocd, depression, anxiety, obesity, skin problems and pcos. I finally decided to make a change as i no longer can deal with my awful mental issues.Ive been on a low calorie diet for almost 2 and half months i have lost so much weight and am feeling so much better admittedly i wasnt mostly animal based at all not until just under 2 weeks ago when i broke out with a terrible cold sore which was making it hard to eat. So i completely cut all the carbs and switched to a meat and dairy only diet for the high lysine content to aid in the cold sore healing. Im so glad this all happened so far the results have been amazing my ocd and anxiety has improved about 70-80 percent as opposed to maybe 40-50 percent it was before after quitting sugar etc. The weight is falling off me like crazy now! My current diet consists of just under 1300 cals
1 bottle of kefir 750 g exact, 1 litre of low fat milk as im watching my calories for now and 200-400 g of meat of choice with some mayo on the side as i like mayo and am not giving it up yet. I am also practicing intermittent fasting and have been focusing on getting plenty of rest lately. I am excited to see where this goes!! One more thing I am taking some supplements ATM multivitamin, vitamin c, fish oil, cod liver oil, cold sore complex and olive leaf extract and lemon balm tea for their antiviral properties for cold sore prevention. I am personally not against taking herbs or including them ATM as they have been helpful in my healing process. Just a disclaimer i'm not recommending anyone to follow my diet as I'm obviously experimenting and trying to lose weight ATM and heal my underlying issues. I just wanted to share my experience on the benefits I have experienced so far being almost entirely animal based!

I wish the raw milk farms would start using glass milk bottles again. All plastic is toxic. Even the "non-toxic plastic" ....lol!
Great video, SnBG!

I have a friend that has a farm and I get my RAW MILK from him... soooo good! Love it! I really appreciate your channel. I am not 100% carnivore, but leaning that way.

I have always used a fine metal mesh strainer and stir it through with my fingers. I've never had a problem with my grains being damaged by the metal strainer, but they don't sit there for long.💚

Ferment with grains for 12 to 24 hours then strain out grains then second ferment it for another 1 to 2 days without grains. Eat some of the grains when they multiply you don't want to many in there or it will ferment too quick.

Love my homemade kefir! I ferment mine for 48 hours to get it the right thickness. I also add a couple drops of stevia. Too sour without for me. You can also do a second ferment and add flavors! Yum ❤️

Hi from London 🇬🇧😀

I strain with a metal strainer and use a spoon to push the liquid through. There’s no harm to the cultures as it’s no more than a few seconds contact.

I leave the kefir in the raw milk for 5-7 days or more. The longer you leave it, the more tangy it will get. After it’s strained into a jar I leave it in the fridge for a week to get the fizzy taste. Sometimes I’ll add extra thick double cream to the kefir and leave in the fridge to make a rich decadent type yoghurt.

The kefir grains go back into the old jar with more milk. Don’t wash jar. Use a muslin cloth to cover jar.

I like to make both cows milk and goats milk kefirs. So I have best of both worlds. Two types of kefir in the fridge.

Absolutely love raw milk kefir. I get raw goat milk and raw milk kefir from my local farm in glass bottles and it’s absolutely delicious. They make raw goat cheese sometimes too and it’s beautiful. So satiating.

Glad I live in Arizona where raw milk is legal. I buy kefir and let it sit in my fridge for months and it turns into this thick liquid that tastes like cheese. Sooo good!

Have you tried raw goat milk ? It’s been my favorite because I find that I don’t gain weight as I would on other dairy products. Also tastes really good.

I have also have made cheese from kefir by separating the curds and whey. It produces a nice soft cheese. I have used this "cream cheese" to dip steak with! Yum.

I’m 70 have been drinking close to a quart of raw milk a day since 1978 when my trainer, Vince Gironde got me on it..Numerous web sites are dedicated to him for his nutritional advice which was decades ahead..
Joe Weider sent Schwarzenegger to Vince for diet & technique..
FYI 85% of lactose intolerant thrive on raw milk..

I’m sure it’s been said in the comments already but just in case I’m just going to say, DO NOT consume a cup of kefir if it’s your very first time having some and your gut biome isn’t great already!! I did so after being carnivore for a month because I was still having some digestive issues I wanted to resolve, and I regretted it immediately. It could make you feel sick like me, this is a very potent food that a nutrition depleted body will need time to adjust to! I had to research and it’s recommended that you start with a tablespoon every night for the first few days and then double the dose everyday after that until you get to a cup. Again sorry if this was already said, but if not I hope it helps!

Eating some of my own kefir while watching this!

What I do when straining is I try to mix it up with the liquidy whey stuff and it kinda washes the cream stuff off the kefir grains. My strainer fits exactly in to the smaller bowl so it's easy to do this but sometimes I use a different strainer and can't do this so I just spoon some of the whey from the bowl back in the collander to wash the grains. After a little bit of this the kefir grains come out with basically nothing left on them. Hope that made sense and helps!
