I first started carnivore early October 2022. I weighed 302 pounds. I started by eating ground beef or a ribeye in the morning. In the evening I ate another ribeye or a couple New Yorks. Right before bed I drank 8oz of whole organic milk. By week 4 I felt like an animal. I felt so strong so resilient. I felt superhuman. It was insane how I felt. I felt like I could run through a concrete wall and wrestle a lion. 😂of course this was a feeling not reality but my body inside was obviously changing. This routine works for me. I am now 230 pounds with 55 to go.

I have multiple sclerosis I’ve been on this diet for 6 months I do eat a bacon omelette once a week if I don’t feel like meat.
Most if not all of my systems are deceased. Headaches, sleep problems, body aches, feeling weak. Those have all but gone away. I lost 51 pounds in 6 months. I highly recommend this diet for anyone with autoimmune conditions. Bonus is I always know what I’m eating, cooking and shopping for such a time saver. Thank you Dr. Chaffee you sir changed my life. 😊

I find that Browned Butter satisfies like a sweet, I'm a baker and this journey is so difficult in so many more ways than one. Its quite the experience to bake a Deep Dish Apple Pie with fruit from our own orchard, bake it in my famous piecrust second to none, take it to bible study on Sunday night, and watch seven appreciative people devour most of it. Not.One.Flaky.Crumb., one Caramelly drip, did I taste. Self control really is under-rated!
I feel great. 😅

I quit dairy and got through my weight loss stall, improved my gut and feel amazing!!! Carnivore since March, I have lost 25kg, my anxiety is gone and CPTSD is the best it's ever been. I'm sleeping better and just feel so happy from the inside out. Life is amazing on carnivore❤

I like when Dr Chaffee said, "I don't like snacking. If I'm hungry enough to snack, I'm hungry enough to eat a meal."

Anecdote: I've been strict low-carb for almost 4 years, lots of good health outcomes. Mostly beef, bacon, eggs, salmon, shrimp, some chicken, butter, aged cheeses, nuts mainly macadamia, some berries, bit of onion and greens, coffee/cream. Tried adding in yogurt for past 6 months. High fat FAGE yogurt with no added sugar. 25g carbs in container. Started having persistent constipation, aching feet, and mirror showed abdominal weight gain. So cut out yogurt 3 weeks ago, aches receding, constipation gone, and mirror tells me losing some weight....

For those of us starting out, dairy is better than bread and rice etc. i still eat a bitof cheese and I do drink raw milk everyday both goat and cow. Let it fade if u must, but going straight beef has proven difficult for me as a lifelong sugar addict. Trying to make big jumps instead of baby steps has led me to failure at this diet in the past. Eat tons of butter too, butter fills a lot of gaps for me personally and it is satisfying. I also drink goat kefir everyday.

I love the book "Lies my doctor told me" by Ken Berry. I can recommend it :D

Thank you. I needed to hear this. About a month ago I decided to cut out cheese and joghurt one day by day basis. I mean I said to myself "only for today I will have no cheese". (Stopping yoghurt did not bother me.) So these many 24 hours turned into a month. I could not have done this any other way because I felt the addiction to cheese. The first two weeks it was really hard for me to go shopping and to ignore the cheese section. The loss of control I experience with cheese is terrible. It is exactly like you describe in the interview. I start "just having a bite", and then I find myself eating the whole block. In Europe we say that cheese closes the stomach. Especially in Italy and France people eat bits of cheese at the end of a meal. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have gone thru days where I was almost full (on meat) and then decided to have a bit of cheese to close the session. After having eaten the cheese, I was hungery again and was able to eat the leftover meat that I had originally intented to keep for the next day. No, I don't want this anymore. My guess is that this is how an alcoholic must feel about alcohol.

"Have Dairy as a condiment, not as a meal...if you're hungry enough to snack on dairy, then you're hungry enough to eat a meal of meat...dont snack between meals." Exactly.

Dr Ken Berry and Anthony the unit are all I ever need to listen to. Ya'll inspire me, I am 153kg (337lbs) right now and I'm getting my bloods done and hope to lose 45kg (100lbs) in 6 months. Been on the diet 3 weeks and already lost 15kg (33lbs) and that's not even hitting the gym. Each week I'm feeling more confident to hit the gym.

I"ve been in keto for 5 months now I'm doing carnivorous diet, because vegetables and seeds are giving me stomach problems. My metabolism has changed, my stomach problems have dissapeared, even my allergies.
Thanks so much for this great interview. Greetings from Ecuador.😊

The first thing I noticed after eliminating my coffee with 3 T of milk was that my post-nasal drip disappeared and I'm not blowing my nose anymore. That was the only dairy I was eating!

Thanks for all this info. The only cheese I have is a little fresh ricotta with my steak or bacon and eggs. It’s so yummy. I enjoy the flavour. I am so grateful to have had this door open to a universe of good health. The first major effect I noticed when I started a month ago is breathing. I am breathing deeper, clearer and really appreciating the feeling of air going in and out. I also hung out for an alcoholic drink at about 4pm. Now I don’t even think about alcohol and it’s only been a I do 2 meals a day and am very satisfied. And I can still eat out!!! Steak and butter. So easy.

You just summed up my experience with dairy 🙈 I was strict beef for 2 weeks, felt great. Then added some cheese. Then watched this video to see if dairy could be a problem - and smirked when you mentioned people who only hear dairy is OK and overeat on it - the joke was on me. I began overeating on dairy AFTER I watched this video 🙈. At first, I tried to moderate my dairy consumption. Next thing I know is I'm only eating blocks of Brie and jars of Mascarpone for about 10 days straight plus added raw milk by the liter to "help my digestion" 🤣. My little lizard brain just went nuts... I only realized I have a full blown dairy addiction after the scale showed +4kg after 10 days from 59kg to 63kg 🙈🙈🙈 needless to say I still can't believe I've done that 🙉

Great video! This is why my weight loss stalled. I also realized the hardest part of quitting coffee was giving up the cream.

Very helpful! Dairy, condiment, got it. Starting carnivore today, wish me luck!👧🦋

Appreciate you spreading the word on this way of living, Doc! I have been eating an animal based lifestyle (meat, eggs, and some cheese) for over 5 years. Not only has it been life changing, but life saving for me!

Thank you, that was very sound advice. As someone who is healing an autoimmune issue my body is experiencing, I am aware of dairy as being inflammatory for me so I have omitted it for at least the first 30 days. I am using the carnivore as a healing mechanism but also as an elimination diet and am going to slowly one by one try foods to see what my body enjoys and does cannot tolerate so I can heal my body and bring back optimal overall health as well as weightloss
