I’ve cut dairy out totally and have notice a huge difference in my health, inflammation and skin 😊

I'm now 4 months into carnivore
At the 3rd month I hit a wall. No weight loss for 3 weeks.
I cut out heavy cream, coffee and all cheese. My weight loss started again and I'm still losing.
Down 37 lbs

Cheese is my thermostat. When I drop under 155 I eat more of it. Over 175, I stop eating it. It's a fantastic weight control tool.

I stopped eating dairy including cheese and I finally broke my 10 month stall. It sure did help me. I love heavy cream and cheese too! Thank you for all your knowledge. It helps.

Started carnivore and lost 21lbs the first month, when I didn’t eat dairy/cheese. For the second month, I added cheese as a part of my carnivore diet and lost 1lb. Absolutely sucks when you still need to lose over 100lbs. So definitely no cheese/dairy when trying to lose weight even on carnivore.

Funny you published this…I been including cheese with all my meals lately and I stepped on the scale this morning to a gain. Gotta back off the cheese.

I can't buy cheese. If I do, I eat it all in one day. Period. It's just too good. And inevitably, I gain weight.
I live in France. There are so many cheeses here, so many temptations.

Thank you Anthony, I needed to hear this. I have been Carnivore for 9 months but stopped loosing weight about four months ago. That was when I started using cream and cheese. Since I have had nearly no milk or milk products for fifteen years because I was allergic, I had some catching up to do. Oh well back to no milk or cheese, most of the time.

I can't use dairy as a "condiment". Back in the day, I used to say "food was the medium to get the condiment in my mouth!" I use mustard now as my only condiment. No dairy at all. Too delicious

Just found your channel, this video was excellent and I like your down to earth style (I've subscribed) I've been Carnivore for 7 months and recently gained 8lbs, I suspect due to dairy. Yogurt, cheese, kefir and butter. The Kefir (homemade) I'm certain helps my gut so I'm going to continue with that and butter (which I can't do without) but cut out the rest, so fingers crossed. I was also having bacon and eggs daily (the only bacon I can buy here has some dextrose in it - which Ken Berry said in a video should be okay if it's all that's available as it should cook out...but I've cut that out too just in case) Thanks for the video!

Heavy cream has no lactose, almost pure fat, isn't that exactly what we want?

I guess this is what I needed to hear today. Been keto then carnivore for 3 years now and still have my diabetic fat belly. I don't like the taste of black coffee so I add heavy cream. Well starting tomorrow ill dump the coffee and go with broth for a cup of warm liquid. I'll keep you posted. Thanks🙂

I found I was doing the daily dairy thing. I was making my own yogurt from heavy cream and eating that every day, along with way too much cheese, either with meat, or on its own.

I decided to temporarily cut dairy, including butter, in November and I was a bit miserable the whole time if I'm being honest.

I switched from butter to tallow, which I rendered from suet and set into small molds, so I could keep it in the fridge and eat it like I eat butter, as a side dish or "dessert".

My gut was not ready for that. It had known butter all its life. When I started eating large amounts of butter as a carnivore, that wasn't bad, but oh boy my gut was not happy with the sudden addition of all that tallow. My gut kept me racing to the bathroom immediately after I ate.

I fell off the carnivore wagon for nearly the entire month of December. Like many others, Christmas is always tough for me. I planned to give myself about a week of eating all the carby things, but it was actually more like 3 weeks.

I'm now back to being fairly strict. I think part of the reason that I was extra rebellious around Christmas was that I had been digesting very little of the fat I was eating. I had deprived myself of all my best-digested sources of fat and gone with an unfamiliar one before my body was ready for it.

So I've decided to do my best to treat diary as a condiment going forward. Butter has always been awesome in my belly, but I can't eat the heavy cream yogurt except on very rare occasions anymore. I make a carnivore approximation of pizza or lasagna once or twice a month, which I pile cheese into, and that keeps me from feeling deprived.

And about the tallow - oddly enough, my body is now very happy to digest it in high amounts and I even get cravings for it.

I occasionally use nutritional yeast sprinkled over eggs and steaks. It has a cheese flavor.

I also think a huge point is "when" you have it, that hit of coffee with a hit of cream first up in the morning is a huge killer in the morning breaking the over night fast

I can’t eat ground beef without dairy. I use Gouda, cream cheese, and sour cream all together. Oh yeah and butter too

I stopped consuming milk in large amounts about 2 weeks ago (still have a little cheese) after I found out how many carbs are in it.
Just as an example - and I would have at least one of these a day - a medium, semi-skimmed Starbucks latte has as many carbs as a Krispy Kreme glazed donut.
Think about that…
