If you abuse, neglect or abandon a child, the child doesn’t stop loving the parent THEY STOP LOVING THEMSELVES. Mind blown! I knew this but hearing it this way made it make sense.

I have been in a funk for WEEKS and WEEKS and to be honest, I didn't really realize how bad it had gotten until I caught up with you yesterday. I am so grateful for you and your transparency. It helps to know that everyone is fighting the same battles and your podcast gives us real life ways to deal with them. Thank you for everything you do.

I was driving when I was listening to this podcast. When I heard Mel start talking about Dr Russ Kennedy I had to pull over because I began to cry. I have struggled with anxiety all my life and tried everything but never achieved success. The information Dr Kennedy shared on these podcasts blew my mind. I could not get enough and listened over and over again trying to soak up as much information as I could. I read his book and then took his online course. I am finely free and not so bothered by aniexty. It no long runs my life, I do! Thank you again Dr Kennedy and Mel thank you too, I love you.

That's what I said about 2023 "rejection is redirection away from what's not meant for you"! I am so happy I have my dream job and new home at the end of 2023! So now 2024 is a year of self care and resetting for me and enjoying what I have! X

Wow!!! Every expert was phenomenal and because of the episode with Dr. Ramani this summer I left a progressively more violent narcissist in September. I learned so much about the last 13 years of my life and why I went from one to another and another. Your podcasts have been seriously helping me to learn, love and heal.

I also just started listening to “SLAY the bully.” Thank you, Mel. I absolutely love you and I started my Best Year Ever journal. 💖💖💖

Hi Mel, this is the first time I've watched/listened to your Podcast, it's as though you made it just for me! Literally! I'm post-menopausal, 54 years old and I'm struggling with my weight. I struggle with clutter in my home, and I have self-sabotaged any efforts to improve my life due to a lack of self-worth and love which has inevitably caused me a great deal of anxiety. I have an inventory of amazing cosmetics that I formulated, and produced myself, sitting doing nothing as my mountain of debt keeps growing. When Jamie told the story about the investor who didn't think she could sell cosmetics because of the way she looked, I got so angry! Then I thought, I tell myself such terrible things or worse every day! Not anymore!
Your podcast has given me so much hope and motivation to fix what needs fixing and get on with my life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Mel! ❤

The dishes, the laundry, the toys on the floor- WHAT! Is this what life is all about? I when it comes to laundry, never signed up; it was just my job?? Putting dishes away; the conversation; “put ‘em all away - get em all out again” this is an original song. Honestly, I’m hysterical with the insanity … it never ends. What was the lesson? Love you ❤Mel Thank you KC Davis!

6:49 In case you're interested....my nemesis is coke. I used to hydrate immediately with that. Now I wake up with water with a half a fresh squeezed lemon, only that, no sugar, and after that a very nutritious smoothie that I make at home. That'll get me around 2.5 hours at least with no coke. Just saying.

Mel, I'm not sure how you, as a stranger to me, made me cry when you said "I love you" but here I am wiping away tears as I type this. Thank you for your podcast!

I can't give up coffee, but I should be able to put off the coffee for 45 minutes. Gonna try this!

Great stuff. There are two things I need to work on based on this:
-Tired of having to reach out to be remembered
- love my job, hate my industry

Hi Mel - I’ve heard you mention a few times now the huge number of people who listen to you but don’t subscribe to you. It may help to explain to your audience what subscribing means just to clarify, I know there are still people out there who think it involves money like e.g. a magazine subscription 😂.
