Being bored is actually super important now a days!! And I meant being bored with out a screen in front of your face! Your brain will naturally begin to take you places and help you imagine things.

The looks that I get from people in Waiting rooms when I whip out a book from my purse to read instead of scrolling through my phone is hilarious. And I noticed a lot of older people look at me with a smirk and a nod of appreciation to see a young person reading a book and not stuck on a phone. It makes me happy to see

Breath work 4-7-8, is super powerful! I was raised to always stay busy, even when I don’t have anything to do, something needs to be done. Now that I’m on my own, I literally take a break from everything on the weekends, and it wholesomely changed my life for the best!!! Do spend, don’t scroll, don’t watch tv, turn off all electronics, and just meditate and breathe, listen to nature’s music and or (if electronics on) dance!

i always feel so strange as the only person not on their phone when i’m waiting somewhere or for something but i feel so connected in the present & “awake” if that makes sense. it makes me sad that kids these days rarely experience car rides looking out the window too.

Some days can be challenging especially when you’re conditioned to doing things and being productive.
