Cold calling works if done right and it also is a numbers game. It's like approaching girls, you can't just work out, look the best you can and hope and wait for girls to approach you. Sometimes you have to put yourself out there, get rejected a bunch of times, practice your approaching methods over and over and you will get better and at least one out of the hundred will buy into what your selling. This one customer out of 100 will now give you the confidence and experience to continue this path. Than eventually you will have built up a large enough client base this way where you eventually wont have to cold approach anymore and the customers will start calling you. But first you have to hustle and get rejected a bunch of times before you start seeing the results.

The company I work for has just faced this. The owner hired a girl to cold call a list of prospects and try to get them to buy after scheduling visits with us, the engineers. After 6 months, the girl was fired because it did not work. Now I can see it was not the girl's fault, but a lack of the proper marketing. Thank for this video, Sifu.

The problem with doing research on cold calls is that a lot of people are not going to answer or get you to the decision maker, so you can spend a lot of time researching just to get a voicemail.

Dan is 100% correct I’ve worked 4 cold calling jobs 4 different industries B2B and I was making 200 calls per day and generating 1 lead per 500 If I’m lucky.
