Being honest and saying it's a cold call worked for me the best.

I have never understood why anyone would ever ask a closed question on a cold call opener. "Do you have a minute etc etc?" The answer you will get is "No" The end. As soon as you give them a chance to say no, they will. Gabrielle hands down the best approach on this video.

Loved - Belal Batrawy - example was really good help.

Hey guys, I have a cold calling issue. I have been cold calling and I am average at it. Which is perfectly, fine. However, now I have started working for an Offshore accounting unit (india) and I am not able to get them talking. Earlier I was into software sales.
My major problem:

1. Script - not able to design a perfect script for offshore accounting services.
2. ICP - ideal customer profile
3. Decision maker - CPA or Operations Manager or Operations Head.

0:30 Excellent framework. And I like the second response.

3:40 Interesting take and still provided her thoughts on a script. Her pitch at 4:00

Leading with acknowledging the interruption and asking for permission to continue generated better results immediately for me! 50% of my last 10 callers we interested in wanting me to continue. Thank you.

Hey guys, love these intros, especially the 'old skool' acknowledgement of interruption and request to talk. Always the best way to go. And yes! Cheeky and fun all the way! And Belal... I know quite a few people called Belal / Bilal, and I know the historical important of that name too ;)

And as for the young lady with countless sales awards getting someone on the call and then asking "Can we put something in your calendar for next week etc" WHAT?!?!! Youve got them on the phone now!! get on with it Unbeliavable.

The question is if they pick up an unknown number do you even need to ask the 30 sec permission? Or you should just go right in

I use the "Can I take just 30 seconds of your time"? approach. And I stick to 30 seconds. However, most of the time it goes longer because the prospect has questions. If not, I just move on. As Sandler says "Some do, some don't; some will, some won't. Who's next?"
