Cold Calling is one of the easiest ways to get new clients.

If you're just starting out, all you have to do is pick up the phone, call your specific customers, and sometimes you can sell them.

Now, I used to do a whole bunch of cold calls back when I worked at this startup in New York City.

I've made thousands of cold calls, maybe even tens of thousands of cold calls to local businesses, and in this video, I want to talk about some techniques that I found that work.

Now I do want to add a quick disclaimer here:

Cold calling is not something that I recommend doing anymore, but there's a lot of demand for cold calling tips, so I figured as somebody who's made a lot of cold calls, made money on cold calls, sold to local businesses, I could give you some tips.

However, the thing I do recommend if you are trying to sell to businesses is cold email, and that's something we talk about in our course, so if you want to check out that free presentation, I would recommend doing that.

However, here are some things that work for me when I'm cold calling that should work for you as well.

Your not giving me hints that I've never heard before. This is more of a video to sell your email service. A sales person recognizes a sales pitch. Clever, I will say, but.... I'm sorry. As soon as I read your disclaimer, I skipped to the next video. If you don't see a value in cold calling, then you were not that good in the first place, and apparently not that successful. If you did find success then you would have never put the phone down.
